  1. Pity we never got them during the McInnes years, I'dve paid good money to see the headline "Flood sinks Noah"

  6. 3 and counting
  7. should be 5
  8. 5 min - goal down 7 min - man down Nae luck
  9. They're out. Nae luck. Mon Brugge.
  10. November feels optimistic - get knocked out of the CL on Wednesday and drop 9 points behind Celtic on Sunday, and Martin could be gone before August finishes.
  11. oh my. Red for FCSB
  12. Live on BBC iplayer - https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/live/bbcscotland or alternatively - http://www.fawanews.sc/Aberdeen-vs-FCSB.html
  13. Christ, could the opening tone of the BBC telly coverage be any more miserable? God and Dodds sound like we are already 3-0 down.
  14. On reflection I should have put "potentially costing us", as if Celtic/Sevco/Hibs are replacing a country/team ranked above us, in reality our "value pillar" league position would have been exactly the same, so there would actually be no difference whatsoever...
  15. Market pool has been replaced with "value pillar" (see below). In essence, qualify for the UEFA League group stages and it appears we get: Starting fee: 4.31m Euros. Every teams gets this, so not split with anyone. (Conf League: 3.17m) Performance-related fees: 450k for a win, 150k for a draw. Also not split with anyone. (Conf League: 400k/133k) League ranking bonus: minimum 75k for 36th place, and 75k for every place we finish above that. On top of that, places 1-8 get an additional 600k bonus, and 9-16 an additional 300k. Not split with anyone. (Conf League: 28k per place, 400k/200k bonuses) Value Pillar share: This is the only bit where the presence of other Scottish teams can affect our prize money, and it's still not a straight split. All 36 teams are ranked (again!) but this time first by country ("domestic broadcasters’ contribution to the overall media revenue for the whole cycle in that competition"), then within that country placing by a team coefficient. Except for the "non-european" bit, which is done just by coefficient... Minimum 297k for 36th place, and 297k for every place we finish above that. (Conf League: 86k per place) Celtic or Sevco joining us would each effectively move us down one league placing as they would be higher ranked than us, costing us 297k each. Hibs in Conference League has the same effect as they finished higher than us domestically, for a cost of 86k. TL/DR We get a minimum of about 4.7m euros for UEFA group stage, and Sevco or Celtic dropping into the UEFA league would reduce that by about 300k euros each. Hibs being in Conference League along with us reduces our prize money by about 86k euros, against a minimum of about 3.3m euros. That's my read at least, but I may have misinterpreted the payment rules as they are rather labyrinthine - you can read them for yourself here: https://editorial.uefa.com/resources/029a-1e0b5460b86d-31e6cad26358-1000/20250616_circular_2025_32_en.pdf As a footnote, if Celtic/Sevco lose the UCL playoffs, they get an additional compensation payment that is almost as high as the reward we get for being in the UEFA group stages (4.29m euros). Go figure.
  16. Tic held 0-0 at home by Kairat Almaty. Feels karmic after listening to commentators debating at the start of the match whether Tic should be aiming for more than "just" a 3-goal margin.
  17. Shouldv'e been 4. Not getting ahead of myself, but what's Sevco's biggest defeat? Asking for a friend
  18. Wasn't going to watch this but I might now. edit: as I type... only on the stream for 30secs and instantly rewarded. 0-3, Sevco being ripped a new one.
  19. Must be all those extra Euro games taking their toll.
  20. FCSB score within the first 30 seconds.
  21. 2nd leg on now http://www.fawanews.sc/Drita-vs-FCSB.html
  22. With all these projects, we're going to have quite the team in four years time
  23. Don't worry, BBC has overreaction more than covered.
  24. The good: we look like a more coherent team, good moments from a number of players, Auchichichi showing some flashes, Milanovic continues to impress. The bad: Yengi - slower than a Robin Reliant in wet cement, more poor touches. He may just need time, but can we afford to give him that time as a starter every week?
