  1. Shinnies had a strained/gaunt look about him for most of the season.Possibly exerting himself more than he has in his tank, hence he's petered out the last couple of months? He'll need to manage his game time(and Nilsen),but I dont see anyone else in the squad yet, to step in and replace his drive and grit Not concerned about Thelin yet,but he probably needs to negotiate with his system meantime, until he thinks he has the players in place to get back to his preferred one
  2. Deary me. Nite nite...
  3. Duk and Dorrington on.Hopefully Nielsen or shinnie off
  4. Some of our passing.... Need a bit of pace up front,Duk if nobody else..
  5. Oot Watching at N'bours Weve enough individual quality in the side to do them some damage, but not been getting the formula right so far. I'll go for a surprise draw. 2 - 2 Keskinen,Nisbet
  6. Played well, but took a knock in the first half,so guessing something to do with that After the first 20 mins, thought we became too ponderous and predictable, and disjointed as to who does what going forward.Wonder if the persistent knocking along the back, side to side has a knock on effect of slowing/dulling our thinking further forward. We're so unco-ordinated in attack. Theres still a few square pegs in round holes, and new players bedding in,but we should be better than we showed today
  7. Should be ahead, but pretty poor fare so far.Tempo seems to have dropped. Clarkson and Nisbet off,Morris and Duk on to pick it up a bit
  8. Lika a bottle around Pittodrie
  9. Took in the Elgin game at Forfar today, before their game v some plucky minnows next week. What a great wee stadium at Station park.Old style, well maintained terraces with crush barriers.Pretty even first, with little goalmouth action.Much better in the second,a draw a fair result, but results eslewhere not going Citys way Fan frenzy after Citys goal
  10. The Retard guy mentions that striker as an example of someone Thelin might look at,rather than having any insight
  11. In - Y Nice to see Okkels on Sunday, but not sure how match fit he is. 7 games at PNE this season,of which some subs.Super sub cameo hopefully Prediction - chilly,..and a 2 - 2 draw. Nisbet,Duk
  12. Also agree. Nicky Devlin was viewed as an underwhelming signing ,....probably one of our best recent ones. You'd think there'd be a few more young equivelants flying under the radar...
  13. Aye,havent quite ruled out Ruby yet, depends what sort of character he ends up alongside, though I think he may be at the point of no return with some fans. Ruby and Molloy physically look an odd pairing, and there doesnt seem to be much of a bond/alliance playing wise either between the 2
  14. Conditions didnt help, but that was shite whatever the reason. Depending how the transfer window goes,I'd use the rest of the season to try a few energetic youngsters,....and to tinker with our playing system a bit more to suit different games, our build up is too predictable.Happy to forego Euro fitba
  15. Intermittent showers and sun til kick off In Mainer - Managed to avoid the Y with a last minute Mainer ticket, straight to the soup shack Prediction - We'll win again some sunny day,nae sure where, nae sure when....
  16. Not a bad watch first half. Wee bit disjointed at times in attack, maybe the wind not helping. All set up for Morris to rip them second half
  17. I won't let you down - Jim Diamond
  18. It is,but a shadow of its former self...
  19. I was never bothered about doing Ben Nevis, due to the amount of tourists, but its a very good viewpoint. Heres a an easy one down near Edzell, good autumn walk with loupin salmon https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/angus/edzell.shtml
  20. early highlights https://www.skysports.com/scottish-premiership-highlights/video/36629/13251652/aberdeen-4-1-dundee-scottish-premiership-highlights
  21. 4 - 1 probably flattered us,but I'll take it.A defeat might have let the doubts in,but the result wont do our confidence any harm.Fair play Mitov for bailing out Molloy, who as said had been having a good game, but was out foxed/muscled for the pen(as far as I could see from the Y) Great strike from Palaversa for the first goal, and what a ball from Nisbet for the third, good to see Besuijen getting a goal. All in all an OK performance,we can do better, but a good day out for all the kids who were there.Fair play to Dundee though, thats one of their better sides Ive seen.Quick moving, smart thinking, just a bit lacking in the box.If thats a typical Doc side, then we should be having a word before Jimmy heads to Old Trafford
  22. I believe Donsdaft, occasionally of this parish passed away recently too.Not sure the full story, but a bit of a character on Abmad back in the day where I read about the news...
  23. Lucky to be level,Dundee much more efficient going forward.Penalty aside, they probably should have scored before now. Impressed with them. Might need to be the ShadyMo show again. Duk off,Topi left
  24. ....and the fact she lied about having black heritage to appeal to the black vote, when in fact shes of Indian/Irish descent(we'll ignore the former slave owning aspect of her family for now).Candace Owens(like her or not) did a very good expose of Harris' actual roots Citizenship to illegal migrants,(ahead of those waiting in queue legally),sanctuary cities, decriminalizing crime, defunding the police, explicit literature in kids classrooms. Self destructive stuff
