  1. It was painful watching Pawlett during the Brown era, often the only making a dangerous run or showing for the ball, that few of the others in the side of that time were smart enough to pick up on.Wonder what he could have done in todays side...
  2. Bojan with a goal for N Macedonia v Armenia.Won 2 - 0

    Celeb Deaths

Indeed, collapsed after a speech in Macedonia on Friday apparently
  4. How was Duk received when he came on?
  5. Peed I missed that, but listened intermittently on the radio on the way back down the road.Seemed to be a goal every time I switched on,though it had the feel of not going to be our day when they deservedly equalised.Great comeback though and another 3 points.Plenty still to work on for Thelin before the game at the Brendanbau, but Celtic possibly a bit off the pace currently, not the worst time to play them,..... hopes not overly raised though
  6. Also unsure of what to expect, and what that late win may have done for Hearts.Theyve been pretty rank all season otherwise, hopefully deflate them with an early goal and they resume falling apart.Gueye could have been useful in a game like this,I like his unpredictability. Not sure if Sokler or Duk comes into the reckoning for this, but surely not Ambrose.......at any stage Oot North Prediction 2 - 2 Nisbet,McGrath
  7. Great support again,.....maybe ease off on the Abdn ole song a bit #startingtogetonmytits
  8. Uncomfortable, but Ill take it. A good win, which at the same time allowed us to see and hopefully work on some of our weaknesses. Ambrose meanwhile, looked awesomely thick, lazy and useless.Impressive portfolio
  9. Been some questionable defensive decisions, after looking pretty dominant.See what were made of second half...
  10. Topi the league Hearts falling apart...again
  11. forgot about Clarkson http://www.fawanews.com/Dundee FC vs Aberdeen.html
  12. McGrath behind Nisbet,or Keskinen? Be interesting to see McGrath in there to see what he can do,think he could do some damage.I like Papes unpredictability, but this front 4 may be more on the same page...COYR
  13. Think the grey could work quite well, whens the unveiling? The more I see the black and gold, the less I like it.A bit garish Imo
  14. Oot Despite still having question marks defensively, weve only conceded 4 goals all season,so fancy us to win by a couple this weekend.Think I'd take Shinnie back in for this, his early season forms hard to ignore. Hopefully see Keskinen get more involved this week Prediction - Dees 1 - Dons 3 Gueye hat trick
  15. Going well, been good in posession.McGrath the standout so far for me.Palaversa and Nilsen in good form
  16. ^^Try here http://www.fawanews.com/
  17. Might explain his laid back approach to fitba...
  18. Finished City 1 - Spartans 1
  19. No but heading up to Peterhead for the clash of the Div 2 titans in a few weeks. Currently 0 - 0 at H/T at Borough Briggs Ps did you catch any of the great City sides and cup runs in the early 70's when you were in the area?
  20. Over thinking about Panda recently? ......It was dons8321 re big lad/fast lad
  21. There's a few at the Union st end of King st,ie Archibald Simpsons,Kings bar,Red Lion on Spittal,Bobbin(usually mobbed). Failing that, plenty buses fae Union st pubs to Pittodrie
  22. Speaking of highlights
  23. Left to catch the train at 2 - 0. Heard theyd got a goal back on King st,then thought I overheard it was a draw on the train.Nice surprise to hear of the win. Thought we were pretty good for most of the game, with a big thanks to the surprisingly good Pape.Mentioned last time he had the ability of looking dangerous to Clydesdale-esque within a short space, but today had to rub my eyes a couple of times(did I just see that??). Looked by far the most dangerous of all the strikers even without the goals. Midfield were good, but would have benefitted more from Shinnie in there, though Palaversa had a solid debut.Topi's not managing to impose himself yet in games, but hopefully just an adjustment issue.Got glimpses of what he can do Defence were ok,though I thought Rubi and Molloy could have stood off there men a bit more at times,a bit over enthusuiastic, and Rubi still a bit rash. Good win, deserved the 3 points despite Well being decent in attack at times.
