  1. Got 6 - 1 Dons written all over it. Be good to see Bavidge get a run out at some point, and Duncan all being well.COYR
  2. Blighter
  3. Only till the end of the season.Cant see too much harm in it...
  4. CR9 gets a double on his debut for Columbus Crew https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/5548105/former-aberdeen-striker-christian-ramirez-reveals-frustration-of-final-season-at-pittodrie-as-he-scores-a-double-on-columbus-crew-debut/
  5. Nice. Is that a gorse with the yellow flowers, first pic. I heard Scots introduced it over there as a cheap means of fencing livestock, but its since become a bit of a nightmare from spreading and the fire risk
  6. I dont think Robson can argue it would be reasonable now to give him til the end of the season, and review at that time..rather than giving him a longish contract,(despite the need for player replacements etc). You'd hope we have potential targets, taking into account where we are managerial wise. Re Robson - I think he has the brains for the job,but have a wee hunch he doesnt have the stomach for it long term, but we'll see...
  7. We saw mid season '20/21 that we were capable of playing a better brand of football, with not the best squad we've had,...but, at around the same time we were losing key players too, along with aging players which knocked things on the head that season. Good to have reasonable aims for entertaining fitba,do we actually know if Glass and co were being told to entertain despite players that werent up to the task,? Re Saints - Would like to head down, not sure Ive time.Saints reasonably comfortable, not sure how theyll approach this one,but our confidence must be pretty high the noo,be surprised if we dont win this one. In or Oot - Oot for now Prediction 1 - 3 Dons Duk,Clarkson,Duncan,....though Fido Coulson wont be far from my thoughts
  8. Think it was international duty for Dutch U21s?
  9. That was easier than expected,Hearts were surprisingly poor. Our intensity was impressive and half time lead well deserved. Hearts eventually got more into it without much of a threat. All had a good game, and if we can involve Miovski more, all the better. Top Dons for me Shinnie,Duk and Mcrorie. Despite his flaws,Like the latter's drive and surges forward. Natural order being restored ...
  10. Traffic horrific
  11. Heading off soon, not overly confident..if team confidence boosted enough after Utd,and weve been working on the shitey aspects of that game in training then who knows. Looks like a decent crowd,COYR
  12. What a difference a week makes.Last weekend on Ben Rinnes. All gone this weekend Cairngorms on the way up
  13. Dont think were tough enough yet to overcome these hammer throwers, but curious to see what Robson does to take them on.An unlikely win would spice things up the remainder of the season. In - Mainer Pre/Post - Driving Prediction - 0 - 2 Hearts
  14. Retard claiming Rodriguez interested in the job ...but it is Keith Jackson...
  15. Predicted the scoreline but would have taken a draw at half time,we were that crap. Away form monkey off the back, plenty to sort out,but a confidence builder
  16. Oooft, McRorie,get in.....
  17. Hes some guy.hopefully get another as they push for an equaliser...
  18. Cant see a game changer on the bench,Robson needs to fire them up second half
  19. Glen Esk - New playground for the next while.Myriad of paths and tracks for walking and cycling, fine views, very few folk around except if you head to the obvious spots(Loch Lee,Tarfside). Downside was finding a number of snares at the edges of some tracks.Assumed these were illegal, but apparently not if premission granted, though the estate I was on(Millden) has previous for dog fighting and raptor capture/poisoning https://raptorpersecutionuk.org/2022/05/06/millen-estate-angus-glens-gamekeeper-convicted-for-animal-cruelty-in-relation-to-badger-baiting/ Pics from last nights evening stroll
  20. Tricky one to predict how Utd will respond..Players could be fired up because they got rid of the last guy,or look at Goodwins last few results for us,and continue their collapse In or Oot - Oot Red TV Pre - sorting veg beds out Prediction - Utd 1 - Dons 3 Miovski,Clarkson and a Duk mazy run and thunderbolt
  21. Hopefully just something to do with G'borg 40 year anniversary......hopefully
  22. Scales still suspended I think according to Robson's interpretation of the rules? Looking forward to the game,as much out of curiosity re improvement and post humping response wise
  23. Since theres currently the absence of an obvious managerial candidate,Robson meantime sounds like he genuinely understands what the current squad problems are going by his interviews. Its the giving him room to solve them, and make the odd mistake, while calling games 'must win'. All of Goodwins last games were labelled must win, doesnt seem to help Dont like Jonny at left back, too clumsy for me,still think he has a use further forward at times. If its a 3,happy with Scales left, and Coulsion ahead. In - Mainer Pre/Post - Driving Prediction - Both sides a bit unpredictable. 2 - 2 Duk,Clarkson
  24. Stood on the other side of the water(Marlborough sounds) looking towards Wellington a few years ago.The water in between looks horrific. Wouldn't be swimming or sailing in a hurry
  25. City managing to snatch a thrashing from the jaws of victory.Pity there wasnt a replay, enjoyed some great SC ties at Borough Briggs back in the day. Interest in remaining SC ties now non existant inc Darvel/Falkirk
