  1. No idea what he's thinking, but am sure Reynolds and co have been magnificent in training in that line up.Nothing to worry about. COYR
  2. Well this news is on other forums too. Be interested to hear the clubs point of view.Dont know what problem theyd have with displays or why they couldnt help make it to their benefit(assuming they really dont want displays)
  3. The freezing recent weather might have been a pain to some, but its brought some of the best hill conditions I can remember.Superb visibility, sunny skies and lots of inversions as below on Tayside last w/e.A first for myself Couple of new routes Invervar 4 - A loop of 4 relatively easy Munros(Carn Gorm,Meall Garbh,Carn Mairg,Meall nan Aighean) starting from Invervar car park.Take the A9 as far as the turn off for Aberfeldy. From Aberfeldy head for Ivervar via Fortingall. On arriving at Invervar look out for a phone box on the lhs, where there is a free car park just below it. Along the road(west) is a gate with a sign pointing you up the first hill(Carn Gorm).A few green and orange markers guide you up though the forestry, and another sign points you onto the start of the Carn Gorm ridge, where its pretty obvious where to go from there.Options once you reach the summit are go back down the same way if 1 is enough,or carry on along the ridge East, where the other 3 hills roll out beyond, and return back to the car park Some great views to Glencoe,Ben Nevis. The hills around here and the Trossachs are some of the best for inversions Cluanie 4 - A notch or 2 above the Invervar 4, for steepness and exposure. This route includes Am Bathach(Corbett),Ciste Dubh,Aonach Mheadhoin, and Sgurr A Bhealach Dheirg(Munros).Route starts at the Cluanie Inn car park on the road from Invermoriston to Glen Sheil.Am Bathach starts almost immediately from the car park to the right, and heads quickly, steeply up.A few ups and downs to the summit at the far end.Its a good introduction to the area and can be done as a single by dropping down at the far end, to the dip(Bealach a Choinich on the OSmap) between Am Bathach and Ciste Dubh, and turning right to join a track between Am Bathach and A Chralaig(an Caorann Mor),and back to the car park. If carrying on,head from the dip,up to Ciste Dubh, return back down to the dip, then up to Sgurr an Fhuarail, over to Aonach Mheadhoin(some steep and exposed bits en route),across to Sgurr a Bhealach Dheirg and return to the car park via Meall a Charra, the East edge of the forestry below, cross the burn and follow the road back to the car park. Great days walking in prime Scottish hill country
  4. He's reached his limit if he's stupid enough to carry on doing the same things without recognising something isnt and hasnt worked.Id be prepared to see how he responds to this* and how he goes about getting a different result next time.I If he doesnt change it,then yes then things will stagnate and he'll be rightly out on his arse.Lets see what he does at Ibrox, and then in the next transfer window *or because i cant think of an alternative manager for now
  5. Enjoy your day for as long as its enjoyable.Show us you want to win Dons. COYR
  6. Dont mind euro fjtba thru the season but agree.like to switch off altogether for a couple of months. Football in July doesnt do it for me And get it back to the European cup ,non seeds etc as said
  7. Ha Ha. Quotes - "No way!", "You piece of shits " " "How the Hell did they manage that?" "That is bloody awesome!! It was indeed awesome.Wonder what Mezz has got lined up for this one.
  8. Wee panic there, but thats what I meant Though I did randomly travel down to Fir Park from Elgin for a Saturday game a couple of seasons ago..... ....How I chuckled when I found it was on the Sunday......
  9. Anton Rogan was a great player for us In a relaxed mood about this game.Beers and food sorted for Friday night. Hearty breakfast Sat am with the bro and nephew, then game time.Lookin forrit tilt. COYR
  10. Think sinclair went off injured
  11. Enjoy a bit of the blues Fab Thunderbirds OGWT 1980 - great harp solo ...and SRV Texas Flood,Montreux 1982
  12. Good stuff, and good to see the '76 team again.Jarvies looking a bit old.Dont recognise the wee guy with the light blue jacket, and the guy at the back, right with the silver hair?? Williamson?
  13. Nae sure about Shearer there but would add Davie Robb and Drew Jarvie to the 'never paticularly rated them' list, popular as they were
  14. Keeping it local.Scotland in summer.... ....and then Scotland in winter with a bit of the Pyrenees in late Spring
  15. Ha Ha. and quite agree...we had more nervous moments(vICT) when we tried to defend the lead. How much the players want to win a trophy could decide it
  16. After yesterday, why change a winning formula.Confidence building at a good time, think this more attacking line up suits a lot of the players more Bit more optimistic about the final now,...but realistic
  17. What planet are these tw@ts on.All this shite shouldve died out in the 70s.
  18. Havnt seen him for a few years, but last time I did,he was in Somerfield,Torry, trying to chat up a nae particularly attractive lass at the deli. Not sure what he said to her,but as I walked away I just heard a startled "Noooooooo!!" from the girl, and seen him walking sheepishly away..... * Am reading into that what I want to believe
  19. Aye most teams feared playing us anyway, and his mere presence would have been intimidating too. Warm ups in front of the jungle were an extra bonus.Got each other at the right time though
  20. Cheers might need to take time off work for it though...
  21. Had steak the night too. You going to let us in on the 'method' ?
  22. Wasnt called the blouse for nothing..
  23. Agree with the comments about foster. He was getting booed at an early age,17/18? If he'd built up some resentment i think it was pretty understandable Ash Taylor - I like him.Think with the right guidance he could be a very good player.Only thing Im not sure about is if he's at the stage where he would take any advice on board,or whether he's reached a level he's happy with, and unlikely to change. Just needs to back off a bit,and watch the game/anticipate things more Darren Mackie - When I first saw him,i thought he had something about him.Had the potential to be a Riordan type player(IMO, nae sniggering),but it was his ego that got the better of him,and in the end,i dont think Ive ever disliked a Dons player as much Late addition - Doug Rougvie,we all loved him,but he got away with being a carthorse because of a good team
