  1. Weve got ourselves partly to blame for how things turned out though. What we did to get Rangers demoted was the right thing(not that we should have had to),but, for too many of us the thrill of getting Rangers sent down was all that mattered, rather than following through with the less exciting stuff, like changing the voting structure etc.I remember the mood at the time, not enough of us had the stomach to keep it going. If were thinking of chucking it(and I could quite happily switch to other pursuits,golf/hills etc too),then should we not at least make the effort to change things before we do,esp those of us who have seen it all.The other teams should resign* from the league for a start if this really is about colt teams for only the OF.Id want to hear a statement from AFC soon if true. *In fact why not do it anyway
  2. If i was Jason Cumming,I would look at us as a bit of a sideways move, despite being in different leagues.Hibs on the up,SC winners,us a wee bit.. meh?? Priority is the right midfielder, and if we can stretch to a decent defender too it might be enough for the missing confidence,or belief, half the problem IMO
  3. The Blues band - Come on in
  4. Nae ees Malaga.Should have had the hoor put down for that(and the dog ) A friend of mine stays out near Sauchen and 'had' a wee dog,nae sure what breed, but similar in size to a small staffy. It broke out the garden and chased one of the neighbouring farmers sheep. The farmer was up quick as you like, took the dog away and shot it,and got the woman to stump up £500 for scaring the sheep which was in lamb.Am assuming he was within his rights to do so before he did that. So,worth checking out what the law is over there for that sort of thing.Canna have attacks like that?
  5. Well its outdoors Havnt seen much of Kent, but Sussex has a really nice rolling landscape.Only things is the amount of folk everywhere The Keiloch car park between Ballater and Braemar is a great place to take off from for a wide variety of walks, and cycling for that matter, from easy riverside routes to day long munro trips. Will write up a few routes from here when more time
  6. Yip me too. "Weve got hundreds of signatures" ie the ultras, mums, dads, family pets. The 13th man? Own importance way above their station
  7. Mcinnes certainly needs to wake to alternative ideas to progress, but its a bit defeatist to say normality has been resumed.Sevco are where they dont deserve to be,and we are playing under our capabilities, and the other teams are over respecting them like we did. Mowbrays Hibs didnt play with any fear or respect. That was a team to be envious of.It was a different attitude and approach that gave better OF teams regular spankings. We do have a squad there,if it was augmented with one or two imaginative signings, and a change in attitude we might get somewhere.Whether Mcinnes has it in him to pull something out the bag who knows.
  8. If Rooney and Stockley dont play together,i wouldnt play either of them alone.Pawlett and McGinn in instead and cut out the aimless crosses, get a pacey attack going instead

  17. Theres apathy, but its exaggerated by the sulking from the dour element of the NE support. Our league winning side of 1980,had 5000 at our next home game after the LC final replay v UTD.That was a team on the up.OTT reaction But it doesnt excuse Mcinnes though. You have to develop as a manager. He seems to be relying on the same formula(caution) through his career. Its brought a degree of success, but its a comfort zone, which doesnt make you receptive to finer points that might bring bigger rewards. I would like to see what he does in the window, and I think he's earned til the end of the season whatever happens.I actually think he could remain cautious defensively, and at the same time, develop/speed up the way we attack for better results
  18. Simon and Garfunkel - The boxer
