In fairness much as we would have been disappointed if this was a scotland performance at this stage, I could have accepted it just yo be at this stage......

4-0 after a very long VAR review. Welsh will be raging that VAR never picked up foul in build up to 2nd or reversed the red card. 

Italy taken to extra time by Austria but now 1-0 up.

Italy win 2-1 in the end. Italy not as impressive as they were in group games but still scored two good goals. Through to face winners of Belgium v Portugal.

agreed re Italy, they weren’t overly good in comparison to earlier rounds. Austria Almere a bit unlucky in the end I thought. 

Czechs 1-0 up against 10 man Holland. 

2-0 now and Dutch heading out. 

Belgium 1-0 up on Portugal with a great finish from Thorgen Hazard. Pitch in Sevilla looks awful. 

Brilliant second half with Belgium seeing game out 1-0. Portugal did everything but score.
