Northfield Quine
Looks like the deal is done and he will be signing for Derby. Hopefully We get the comp we deserve and Brown has something up his sleeve in terms of signings as he needs to get the players in. :-)

baggy89
Wrong type of player for L1, Derby won't go up with the likes of Maguire up front and I doubt Maguire will get played much after the first couple of weeks. Championship and L2 you can get away with being a bit lightweight and teams that like to pass too feet do better on average in those leagues. L1 is a bit of an anomaly in that it is largely where the biggest and most physical players who still have a bit of talent end up.

capitalsharpie
R.I.P A.N. Other promising scottish talent Taken from us prematurely to die on its arse on a subs bench in the lower english leagues. See you in five years Maguire, playing for Morton or wherever.

sheepheid
Agreed. Don't see what all the fuss is with him......he thinks he's better than he is and has too big an ego for someone who hasn't the skills to back it up!
