What do you drive?

Just wondering what motors we all own? I know Jager has an STI.  :o But what about everyone else?

Is Holden only sold in Oz?

I have a Mazda Lantis Type-R. Rare as fuck in the UK as they need to be imported from Japan. There's probably a fair few of them knocking about on Oz and NZ as they import a lot of their motors fae Japan. Their British cousin is the 323f.

Holden are General Motors. You can get them back home re badged as Vauxhall. Like the Vauxhall VXR8.

I've got a learjet, cars are for poofs.

What bus do you get to the airport?

I drive a car remarkably similar to this, just worse and with more rust.

Citroen C4 Grand Picasso in UK.

Here, some Buick SUV tank of a thing, handles like a bus, drinks fuel! It's the wifie's car

Range Rover Sport Supercharged

Land Rover. It's good as it leaves me lots of space for microwaves and lies.

Golf GTi.

Had to get that reluctantly after destroying a beautiful Corrado VR6.  :

I dont own a can, but drive the works van all the time and wonder if I should pick up hitch-hikers.

We have a 2004 Mazda 3 and a 2009 Subaru Impreza. Both Automatic. I miss Manual cars :(

2008 Impreza STI

S# FTW!!!  8)

Nice. I work in a Subaru Dealership and if we get one in I always try and give it a run round the work grounds.

BMW 320d SE. On my third BMW now, reliable as fuck motors

There's one of them that lives not too far from me. Not a bad looking motor. Quite like the retro look. I can see similarities to this:

Eh? Fine looking motor!  8) Nae as good as mine, though.

Mentorred - can I pick yer brains, please?  ???

I'd been looking to get the 330S Impreza for the inbuilt satnav but the seats were like concrete so just got the STI. I'd still like to fit a satnav... any idea what make the Subaru factory installed sat nav is? Would it be easy to fit myself? And would I be able to wire in the steering wheel volume controls and stuff to the stereo in the sat nav? All i can see on google is references to "MY08" satnav... is that a make?

... and can ye get me a AFC discount on a Prodrive kit?  ;)

Thanks!

I think working in a Subaru dealership would have been my second choice of career. When I drove my bosses WRX round the block 9 years ago, I decided there and then I wanted one. It took 9 years but was worth it  8)

Try joining a Scooby forum. What those guys don't know isn't worth knowing. What BHP are you at? I wouldn't have thought an STI would need the prodrive kit?

Nice buy, though.  My next motor will definately be turbo charged!

Too many forums?!?!? I canna be arsed joining forums just to ask one question and then forget username and password  >:D

300 bhp just now - prodrive kit would take it to 330 bhp I think and make more of an exhaust burble. £1700 quid though!  :o

One I got has already got 18 inch Prodrive alloys which are CAF... so reckon just need the inbuilt satnav and more burbleburbleburbleburbleburble and it'll do me... until I get subwoofer lust 8)

Fair doos but the chunces are that you'll have more and more questions. Find a local one and you'll find it extremely helpful.

£1700 for an extra 30BHP? I suppose that's ok if you're loaded. Go to Wallace Performance in Bridge of Don and they'll get you a new new stainless steel exhaust with any level of burble you want for £300 - £400.
