I do like the thought of us drawing their play-off path, then booking all the flights while they have to wait patiently until March to see if they qualify first. Especially the flights from Dublin. 1 Quote
swaddon Posted November 25 Report Posted November 25 (edited) I see that the global brand that is Cristiano Ronaldo has had two of his three banned matches for his red card suspended, so he won't miss any of the group stage. Apparently, because it was his first red card in 226 caps, he just gets a rap on the knuckles. Edited November 25 by swaddon He has already served his ban. Quote

swaddon Posted Sunday at 20:16 Report Posted Sunday at 20:16 The draw is live on BBC Two on Friday 5th December, starting at 5 pm and running until 6:30 pm. No doubt more than half of it will be singin' and duncin' and other shite unrelated to the draw, and the other half will be the Match of the Day team plotting England's path to world domination. In summary, just tune in for the last few minutes when the groups will be recapped. Furthermore, the minor details such as who plays where and when are expected to be finalised the following day. So they can move matches around for maximum TV exposure in Europe. Quote
Jute Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago FIFA to do another live broadcast on the 6th December at 5pm to confirm when and where games in each group will be played. Fully expect the match schedule to be set up to give “big” teams easiest schedule possible. Quote
Slim Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Most likely needed to keep teams like Iran and Haiti away from US venues. Quote
swaddon Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Robbie Williams and the Village People are to perform at the draw on Friday. I'm sure there's some Mexican or Canadian artists who would have liked to have been asked ahead of Stoke on Trent's favourite son. Quote
