After so many miserable weekends, I'm going to enjoy my Sunday evening

What's not to like about just having recorded the biggest league win by ANY team this season in the league 😉

Next 3 league games at st mirren, home to hibs, at killie. Tough run but all winnable, great confidence builder today as we go into the international break.
thought Armstrong played very well today. Good experienced head who linked well in midfield, very creative and nice interchange on gyamfi’s goal.

After a shit run of results in the first six games, we find ourselves only six points off third in the table

A run of positive results would see us climb this table quickly as so many teams are taking points off one another.

Regarding us today, not a single failure in the team. Special mention to both wing backs from me though and Gyamfi started and finished the move for the third goal.

Important issue raised pre-match. Who is this meant to be on the flag?

Looks like Debbie Harry wearing a Dons top from the same era? Nae sure why though....

Just back......the day it all clicked(I hope). As others said, had concerns pre match when i heard the line -up,but neednt have worried,we should probably have had a couple of goals before we got the pen.Started raining goals after that, til we took our foot off the peddle second half.

Solid team performance, and a few great individual performances, the stand out for me being Gyamfi.Good defensively, and very good going forward.Aouchiche(sighed when I saw his name) had a surprisingly good game, and Shinnie, who I thought was the heartbeat of the side.

Milne,Karlsson and Armstrong all good.Jensen better, but still has an annoying habit of taking the safe option, maybe a confidence thing.

Pleased for Jimmy T,monkey off his back

Gyamfi is certainly an interesting one. Had a good game today, effective in defense/attack in a Mackenzie way. He got up the pitch, won a good few tackles/50-50s today, plus unlike jack he does have skill and a little swagger. At the same time, he doesn’t look the fittest and I thought he struggled the last 10 mins or so. I’m not a fan of using all 5 subs, I’d always keep on in case an injury occurs.
only disappointing thing for me today was Milanovic. He rarely attacks, and when he does it’s going inside where there is rarely space. Much like Jensen tends to go sideways and backwards. Compare him to topi for example, who is very direct and aggressive when he came on, linked with lazetic, and nearly scored. I expect the same from milanovic.

Aye, as everyone has said, it was a very good performance. Dundee were gash, and we took full advantage by pressing them hard all over the pitch. The front three did a lot of good work and pressing (Nisbet worked hard despite not getting on the end of anything). The two young lads, Shinnie and Armstrong's movement in midfield was immense, Shinnie winning everything and Armstrong dragging them around all over. Karlsson looked like a real footballer. The defence rock solid, and carried the ball well. Gyamfi had his best game, despite a slow start, and a great run and finish for the goal (brilliant from Armstrong).

The subs ruined the flow quite a bit, and the midfield two didn't reach the standard of those they replaced, but Lazetic was decent again. Milanovic disappointed a little, but the game was over and we were just cruising. These games are perfect for blooding young players, it's a shame we don't have any.

Well that was 4 going on 7/8.  As you say Dundee were shockingly bad - we don't really look confortable playing out from the back but they were shitting all the time.  Agree with your comment about blooding young players...Lobban is a RB and should have been on the bench and given a 15 minute runout.

Watching Karlsson today, I kept thinking he looked like someone but couldn't think who, until he scored the second goal and it all hit home.

He looks like Percy from the Green Mile.

3-4-2-1 in my mind initially but who  knows there are just so many different permutations in there.

Unlike the Robson European season at least we are rotating the squad.

According to BBC Scotland highlights I called the formation bang on 😂

I've got to confess, it has been so long, I'm addicted to watching these highlights.

Great to have a spring in the step on a Monday morning for a change 😉

I've rewatched Karlssons second a few times I must admit.  Love the twinkle toes

Absolute class min.

Lets hope he just continues to get better and better with more game time.

He is only here for the season, so lets enjoy it while we can 👍

Definitely. I feel like a 52 yr old child on days like this. Buzzing from yesterday, plus cannot wait until the next game. St mirren hibs and killie, all very winnable, but could go the other way too. We need a winning run and very quickly we’d move up the table.

the icing on the cake as well as a winning run is the Huns taking mcinnes. Would like to see the hearts reaction, plus I do not think rangers have a great squad, a new manager doesn’t immediately fix things.

Ha, how many of us have been wondering over the last 24 hrs if we can sign him and keep him for longer?!

I'd hate to see McInnes take the Huns job. I like McInnes.
