Really hope the club start to target some Scottish players.  Looks like we are likely to lose Jack McKenzie which would only leave Shinnie and Devlin as the only Scottish first team regulars.  Massive

Always said I was surprised we went for him in the first place, but wanted it to work out and I never thought we got the best of him. Injuries have always been his issue and that certainly played a part, but still, probably not the player we needed. wish him well.

I actually thought he was quite a decent left back, certainly in his most recent games. If MacKenzie leaves will we have a natural left back?

I am guessing he is being let go as MacKenzie is here until the summer. Would be madness to go without any naturally left footed defenders in the team.

I thought McGarry was defensively poor in most games. Looked a level below what we need.

Hearts and Hibs allegedly interested in Jamie McGrath. Apologies for the source.

Same article suggest we are still after a striker and another central defender. Another central midfielder is mentioned if we can get a few out.

Sounds like an agent trying to get him a better contract offer. Us, hearts, Hibs are definitely his level, I don't see him getting a lucrative offer from down South. The states or somewhere might be an option if he's looking for a move with his family. I like McGrath, he's a good player and we'll struggle to replace him. He goes into his shell a little when things get tough, and doesn't try the passes we know he can make, or often he just gets lazy with them like he doesn't believe he can make them. That's up to the manager to address though, to try and protect him from some of the flak. I hope he stays for another couple of years.

I'm not that bothered if he goes, tidy feet but lacks influence on games for me.

Yeah no doubting McGrath's ability, but I do question his application. Didn't he reject a previous approach from us before he went to Wigan?

Away to Sakaryaspor.

Ach good luck to him,a likeable carthorse. Kinda glad he/we didn't have to endure him having another 'mare, and the following abuse.

Hopefully freed up space for an incomer.Heard 2 were potentially on their way in,but only if a couple out first

Rubezic to Turkey is a non-story, club have denied it. Might be his agent trying to engineer interest or Turkey have their own Agent Alba.

Rubezic is in the squad for tomorrow.

Anyway, why would Rubezic want to leave when we're about to sign a wee (big) pal for him to keep him company.

Watched his highlights and he looks gash, and his scoring record is pretty much non-existent.

But, he has height, can play deep and bring others into the game, so maybe he's the foil to create the chances for Keskinen & Okkels. Plus he's only 21 so sell on value if he turns out to be any good.

Another striker that doesn't strike 😲

No goals in 17 games in Serbian top flight and no assists. Really hope not as that’s not just the bottom of the barrel but the under side of it being scraped.

Hmmm

Those stats are horrendous, especially at a club of red stars stature and dominance in that league. Wtf is going on at AB24?!?

Milan paid 4 million for him a few seasons ago so he can't be totally hopeless.  As Panda points out he could be a player that fits the system well but I do agree the mini skirts are hardly encouraging.  According to wiki it's 5 goals in 75 senior appearances.......

4million to AC Milan is the equivalent of 50k to SPL clubs

No its not, serie a is not the rich league it once was.  Add another 0 to the 50 and that would be a more accurate comparison.

050?

Lazetic is an odd one, how do you impress as a forward without scoring or assisting? What scout recommended this guy?

As someone pointed out to me on Twitter, even miovski had paltry numbers before he moved to MTK. But my biggest issue is , is that we need a striker that will be guaranteed to score goals, not another project. We’ve already got those in Ambrose, bavidge, duk and Sokler. Not sure we should be touching anyone with a meagre end product as that. Sometimes we’re gonna have to break from our model.

Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph suggests we are interested in Maccabi Tel-Aviv centre-back Tyrese Asante.

It’s understood the Dons held talks to sign the 22-year-old last summer while he was at Den Haag, but nothing developed further.

Asante was close to joining Galatasary, before they were gazumped by Maccabi.

The Netherlands U21 international has two-and-a-half years left on his contract, with the club having an option to extend by a further year.

Played mainly at right back for ADO and his games for Mcabbi seem to have been split between right back and centre back. Only went to Israel in the summer and played nearly all Mcabbi’s  games this season so seems odd they would be letting him go. Player himself could of course have decided living beside and taking money from homicidal maniacs isn’t great and asked to move.

Seems and odd one for us given we have signed Tobers and Jensen this month who both already can play role this lad does.

Hope it goes through, we're overloaded with left sided defenders, we desperately need balance.
