Really hope the club start to target some Scottish players.  Looks like we are likely to lose Jack McKenzie which would only leave Shinnie and Devlin as the only Scottish first team regulars.  Massive

Miovski to return on loan until the summer to find fitness and form.

Ferguson being resigned, home sick in Italy.

shock return to the club for Alex miller to fill the recent vacated slot on the management team.

Messi signing an 18 month deal, quoted as saying he always wanted to finish his career in Scotland. Credits his good friend jack gurr as helping with negotiations.

Seriously! I can only assume it’s a decent center forward and those discussions take time. But a legit 9 changes our season and also how teams play us.

Prolific no 9s are like hens teeth as it is,let alone ones that will fit Jimmys style.Once/if Okkels gets up to speed,I might try Keskinen up front if all else fails

You have clearly forgotten as it still makes me shake with rage.

You reckon he’s got the shooting prowess to do it? Seems very wasteful when he does shoot.

If were struggling for strikers, its worth a try.Him wriggling about the opp box might open things up for others

I actually thought Nisbet looked his most useful when Gueye was buzzing about and getting flick ons earlier in the season, so maybe that'll offer something. Nisbet is a good finisher, maybe another player there will create the space required to get the shots away. Otherwise, Keskinen is a decent shout. I'd fancy him most of the time to keep his head, despite his miss against hearts.

You forgot us coming back in to finally complete Gabriel Batistuta's dream move to Aberdeen. He retired 21 years ago, but would still be better than Ambrose

If that fails, I wonder what the guy Klinsmann is up to these days 😉

Yeah Nisbet needs the kind of service that has been short in supply at Aberdeen but having someone like Gueye buzzing around him could cause that to change.

It's alleged we want 3 more in but the rumour mill has died off, I wonder if we will be waiting till deadline day to see any more business.

Ginola and Taffarel itching to get back into it.

Thierry perhaps still has regrets about being rejected (allegedly) by Alex miller/ Roy Aitken

Trezeguet waiting in the wings if those ones fall through...

Since French forwards are being mentioned, was our last Frenchie 9 Alex de Rocco? Remember him being a big loon and quite good, whatever happened to him? Pretty sure he was a January loan but were we not able to extend/buy??

Been turned down by Nazariy Rusyn on loan from Sunderland allegedly.

From what my Sunderland supporting mate says probably a lucky escape. Been shite for them.

Two goals in THIRTY appearances.

Makes our other forward options look almost prolific 😉

It doesn't really matter. If we just introduce him at the unveiling as "our new striker, not Peter Ambrose" then he'll immediately get everyone's backing.

I'd forgotten about his record, wasn't half bad tbh. I remember at the time (think this was still in the original Aberdeen FC chat days?) loads of people raving about him and being gutted that we didn't retain him.

Aye, he was very good like.

With more injuries in midfield being confirmed today do we need to consider getting someone in as well as the much needed striker.

Hopefully we'll concentrate on the striker still. Reckon Jensen could cover midfield if necessary.

Apparently a deal for Lyall Cameron isnt yet out of the equation
