He's the nephew of John Teasdale who had a reasonable career down South with Wolves and Walsall.Went into management and won the Highland league with Elgin(where theyre from). League title was later stripped from them, cant remember why.Fielding an ineligible player,or betting before a game? Quote

Fascinating story actually. There are a couple of videos online about it. I think there were a couple of players that would have been banned from their last Highland League game that season had it been played as originally scheduled for the Saturday. They brought the game forward a few days so those players could play and after a lot of debate the league that year was voided. Awfully controversial at the time. 1 Quote

Think it cost Elgin a shot at league position at the time that went to County. Edited October 23 by Jute2 Quote
RicoS321 Posted October 23 Report Posted October 23 It's why we should never trust anyone from Elgin. Quote

OrlandoDon Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago So is Findlay Marshall any good? Six goals and an assist season to date for arbroath. Player of the month for the championship. What type of midfielder, #10?? Quote
Jute2 Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago Impressed me when I have seen him on loan at both Edinburgh City and Cove previously. Played central midfield at both. At City they rated him as best midfielder in league 1 that season. Quote

Under contract until the summer with us but I am sure earlier this year he had been told he was free to leave us but then we put him out on loan to Arbroath instead. I can't claim to have actually seen him play so not sure if he has enough in him to step up to the level required Quote

Thelin then contradicted that when the club announced Marshall’s loan deal when he said club would be watching his progress at Arbroath with a view to getting him ready for the first team. Quote
RicoS321 Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago Looks to me like a technically very good footballer who might struggle with the athleticism side of things. Similar to someone like Barron I think, but with more of a cutting edge. Think he'll struggle to get into our midfield, although I'd happily let Palaversa and Nilsen go and see how he gets on. If I was to put him in a bracket at an early stage, it would be lower premier, high end championship. Maybe the level of Anderson, or Low. Quote
