Unreal again tonight. 2-0 down with less than five minutes of normal time left and won 3-2, with an absolute worldie of a winner 8+ mins into stoppage time. https://x.com/AberdeenFC/status/179012

Got a film of penalty but cannot get it uploaded on here.

Great to see young lads like Lazetic, Gyamfi, Duncan and Suman get their opportunity on the big stage.

As an aside, we really need to be getting minutes for Lobban. Or we could just send him down south for a million quid, and never see him play.

Aberdeenshire cup final between Aberdeen B and Formartine United confirmed as October 3rd at Harlaw Park with 8pm kick off. Shame not the Saturday as would have headed up on Saturday and stayed over to Sunday for Dundee game.

Not sure those positions are correct. Losing 1-0 at half time.

To?

“great ball out to to and to toe pokes it through the keepers legs.  To makes it to one”.

Young side in Aberdeenshire final against Formartine at Inverurie tonight.

Aberdeen: Vitols, Lobban (C), Ross, Carrol, Masson, Teasdale, To, Cummings, Frame, Kjartansson, Ambrose.

Subs: Simpson (GK), Stephen, Searle, Green, McLean, McDonnell, Duncan

Bit surprised to see Kjartansson listed as thought there was an article in press that said he was out for a while?

The 60mph winds should make for an interesting spectacle.....

Dons 2-0 up. Ambrose and Kajartansson with goals.

Formartine got it back to 2-2 but young team won on penalties. 4-2.

"Lutz Pfannenstiel, a candidate for the sporting director role at Pittodrie, was at Friday's Aberdeenshire Cup final between Aberdeen and Formartine United."

Don't know much about Teasdale but he certainly seems to know the way to goal at that level.

He’s on a development loan at Kelty and got a couple of goals for them at league 1 level.

He's the nephew of John Teasdale who had a reasonable career down South with Wolves and Walsall.Went into management and won the Highland league with Elgin(where theyre from). League title was later stripped from them, cant remember why.Fielding an ineligible player,or betting before a game?
