I like Aberdeen. My folks bide in Spain, brother in Engerlund. I also can't be fucked travelling much out of Europe these days, although I'd like to head back to Sooth Africa perhaps for a trip. I just like people. People are ace. Humans, good species like, featuring a few dicks.

Don't think there's anything in it. Friends of friends and so forth, I suspect I wid have heard of it. As far as I'm aware he's enjoying life, evaluating and taking opportunities as they come, such as the job in Egypt. I think he went into that with eyes wide open knowing that it was a basket case of a club where there was a high percentage chance of it not working out. Could be entirely wrong of course. Also, there's nothing wrong with making a few pished TV appearances if yer out of work, we've all turned up to work pished afore!

I have that very same problem, and have it again today as they've delivered a reed een. The problem with them is that they're fuckin big for a veg that disnae need to be the main part of the dish. I also have cucumber that I dinna ever eat a lot of. I've bought a couple of pickling jars though and I think I might try a bit of fermenting this week. Maybe some kimchi or suauauauuauerkraut.

I think the difficulty is that Trump wasn't chosen by the establishment, and barely allowed in by them (not so much Farage, but similar I suppose - the problem with Farage/UKIP is Arron Banks). Voting for Trump is like the UK voting for Mike Ashley. I wouldn't call Ashley establishment, he's an absolute cunt who would revel in fucking it up for both sides, who just happens to be minted through years of playing the system and exploitation of others. This destruction of the system needs to happen, because the system no longer works. Left or right, a new system needs to be designed to replace the capitalism of the last 30 years (neo-con/lib or whatever you want to call it) and the idea that we're better off working individually of one another. Our system is failing and no longer providing the progress and efficiency it was designed to. We've moved to a rentier economy where progress is stifled through patents and hoarding. We're the least productive we've been in centuries because we're too afraid to tackle the political system. People think that correcting immigration will solve their plight, but it won't. They've got the correct ire, but the wrong target (not to say immigration isn't an issue, it is, but a cultural one rather than economic).

It's a great film indeed. Trump's idea is to de-regulate massively - there will be no need for the lobbying, and I don't believe the lobbyists were remotely supporting him. Indeed the donations of Exxon, Koch brothers, Saudi oil, Goldman and so on all went to Clinton. It was a who's-who of cunts. Along the same - but different - lines, Greg Palast's documentary on vote rigging (yes it does occur Donald, but not the way you suggested) is free for today only and definitely worth a watch. A fantastic journalist and decent guy. http://www.gregpalast.com/bestdemocracymovie/

Yep, good post. I don't believe the US was/is in the right place to vote in an independent anymore, they still treat the election like a two-sided football match (as we do here). As I said previously, Trump is just the beginning. He'll pave the way, I hope, for something much better next time round. I don't think it'll be a case of just going back to what you know once he makes a cunt of it. He'll bring things to a head as people will quickly realise that he is - as you say - someone that can easily be enticed into the establishment (if he isn't already part of it) and that the bland policies he eventually realises will do nothing for the people that voted for them. The obvious point for me is that if Hillary won, we'd be playing out this exact same situation in 4 years time (with a different Trump). They might have picked the wrong revolution this time round, but I don't expect the yanks to make the same mistake many more times.

But none of those exist in the fixed electoral system, so he's the next best thing. The thought of a Clinton presidency made me feel physically sick. The system(s) in both the UK and US (and Europe) are entirely broken. Designed to serve corporations. Look at Clintons list of donors, it was an outright disgrace. More of the same is no longer acceptable (and should never have been). We have the opportunity and technology in our children's lifetimes to be truly free, but our system doesn't allow it. Cunts in a political chamber jeering at one another are no longer required (they've never been required). We know the things we need to be free and we know how to get there, it's time for the bought and paid for politicians to step aside. Trump is just the start. He's the cunt that brings things to a head in the most time-efficient manner. Fuck the huns.

Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act

Excellent. They chose the wrong person to mess with clearly, he doesn't seem the type to take their shite lying down. He's the type that'd happily cut his nose off to spite his own face - I can see him seeing out his career on their ridiculous wages. Fantastic. -
If I was cooking it I'd go for the tofu personally and I'm nae a vegetarian (on a menu, I'd probably take Malaga's dish). More challenge in making the veg dishes I reckon. Like a bit of tofu masel too, interesting tip on the cornflour, will maybe make some tonight. Good work on the cutting down on meat, I've found it really easy and I've done it for years. Probably have meat once a fortnight, maybe red meat once a month. Makes it taste nicer when you have it, but cooking with just veg and pulses/rice etc gives you a far better understanding of flavours and herbs and spices in my opinion. I think everyone should do it. Or we should start making synthetic meat for those who still wish to partake in daily meat.

Dons announce latest off the field results

Surely the overwhelming evidence points in the other direction? Liking or disliking the new stadium aside, we have spent 20 years on failed projects. From a non-partisan perspective the likelihood of us having the funding in place is slim. The likelihood of us getting the required amount for Pittodrie is slim. The likelihood of us getting planning is strong. Hopefully we'll at least do the training ground. The fact of the matter is that the vast majority of the funding is not reliant on us selling Pittodrie or indeed moving stadium. It is external funding. If that money was forthcoming, we'd probably have accessed it by now. If anyone has evidence to the contrary, I'd be interested in seeing it. -
Aye, thon snakes chasing the iguanas was mugic.

Aye, I'm going Hillary unfortunately. They need a Trump in to wreck the system completely. Expect a no-fly zone in Syria by the year's end, which will be interesting. I think it might even swing enough to give the Democrats control of congress too, such is the fuck up Trump is making of it towards the end of his campaign. As a middle-classer, you automatically align with the democrats with a sneering glance towards the thick Republicans, but the Democrats are a dangerous bunch of bought and paid for cunts who'll sell themselves to the highest bidder. The Clintons have some ridiculously questionable donors, who'll ensure that the people get nothing from their government. I was hoping Trump would accidentally bring about the revolution that country (and ours) so badly needs, but a Clinton government will throw that back a decade or two. A nice wee war to get the American people rallied round would suit her nicely.

Good documentary on Anthony Weiner last night on BBC4, only caught the last half mind. Interesting to see a guy with such brutal lack of self awareness - or perhaps he was just narcissistic. Either way, quite amusing. Showed the press in an interesting, but obvious, light too.

Think Reynolds is 2018, with Taylor 2017. But I could be wrong, and I'm not using the internet to check - fuck that. Think Reynolds will struggle to see out that period, which is a shame - I certainly don't think anyone would have argued with the long contract he was given, but perhaps there is a lesson there somewhere. I think Taylor will see out his contract and not be given another. If we're serious about McKenna coming through then one of them needs to make way at the end of the season at least. I still have high hopes for Morris.

He's played there a couple of times and didn't look up to it. Too slow and dithered a few times too. Wouldn't want him out of centre back position either, cause he's been great. The answer is to buy a midfielder in January, like we should have done in one of the last two windows.

Aye, the gas one ina where the boy screamed "No!" at his wife as she went to switch the light on. Also, I may of imagined it, but there was one about poofs getting aids too wasn't there? "Peter, 23, a homosexual. Peter has aids. If you're a homosexual, don't sleep with monkeys." Or some such

Exactly. It's cost a fortune to get her this close, not chance she'll be allowed to get fired. They'll time a terrorist attack just after she's outed as a criminal and it'll be forgotten within a week. They'll have dodged a huge bullet if Hillary gets in (expect to see a huge bullet if Trump gets in), but the rest of the world will very much get one in the face from the warmongering, deceptive whoor.

Seagull population is down significantly. They have simply moved to the cities in search of food. Luckily we have the internet and we'll have virtual reality seagulls in future, which won't shite on you.

That seems whooring expensive for putting in an aerial (£250). You say you've got an aerial anyway, but it's unused or whatever, that suggests you have existing cabling/infrastructure. Aerial cabling hasn't exactly change much over the last 20 years or so, so I suspect the cabling will be fine (if not, just buy some aerial cable - probably get 100m pretty cheap - and replace like for like yersel, tape it tightly to existing cable and pull it back through from yer loft), so just get yersel a decent new aerial from Screwfix or somewhere for about £40 (if yer getting cable too, I'd use Screwfix - good service and cheap). Are your old aerial points in a decent location in yer house (or close to decent)? If so, you'll be sorted. Alternatively, you could use yer sky cabling once yer dish is removed (perhaps replacing the sky cabling with aerial cabling by pulling the cable back through from yer sky dish, and either continue the Sky cabling up to a roof aerial. This depends if yer happy with a cable going up yer wa' and an outside aerial. I'm reasonably apt at these sorts of things, however it's nae that hard, and all you need is a sharp stanley knife to fit the aerial connectors and some electrical tape to attach any existing wires igether to pull back up to yer loft. There's probably a hunner videos on youtube on how to do it if yer unsure. I sure as fuck wouldn't pay someone unless you had no existing aerial or cabling at all.

Scotland Internationals 'retiring'
RicoS321 replied to Nips_and_Tatties's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I think I get the attention seeking thing. Fit yer saying is that players never used to retire from international fitba, they just stopped getting picked and quietly moved off into punditry or something. Now they have to be seen to be making the decision for themselves and preempt the manager's own choice. I'd say it's possibly a more egotistical thing, although I suspect the managers these days probably offer the players the opportunity to retire. I certainly don't remember Strachan ever retiring for example, but I could be wrong, the first I remember I think for Scotland was fucking Dominic Matteo. As for Brown, he was fucking atrocious the latter half of last campaign for Scotland and shouldn't have been near the team. He was playing poorly for his club (don't think he liked Delia, certainly not Collins and was playing within himself) and Strachan's insistence on playing an out of form player was one of the major reasons we failed to qualify. Now he's back on form and would happily sit in that team instead of Bannan, but typically he's unavailable. I don't think it sits well to have him back for a single game, and I personally think that McArthur, Fletcher and even Morrison are better players these days. I'd rather have Jack or Shinnie in the squad if there's an available space for someone. -
My cars is better than your cars.

That's a classic Collum penalty that one. One of those that no other referee in world football would be a dick enough to give. Atrocious decision.

Hmmm. We had a good run. Hate accies gay pitch in a gay location. Fucking gays.
