  1. Aye probably, although if we didn't have Leighton, we would have had Bryan Gunn as our No.1 and I think he was certainly capable of doing as good a job, but whether he would have or not is a different story.
  2. I'm certain that if we didn't buy Jess back from Coventry, we would've been relegated, so I'd have him as one of them. Others probably Willie Miller and Alex McLeish. Or possibly swap one of them for one of Peter Weir or Gordon Strachan.
  3. Made his debut for Burnley today at Right Back, played quite well seemingly: http://boards.footymad.net/mboard/fmb.php?tno=104&fid=297&sty=2&act=1&mid=2128547126
  4. I don't want to put all of the blame on 9/11, but it certainly didn't help.
  5. Do you mean pennants or am I being pedantic?
  6. Panic over hopefully:
  7. I see he went off after 28 minutes in the Scotland U21 match against Lithuania, I hope it's not serious.
  8. I got banned from the original AFC Chat on the official site for posting details of a public appearance Andy Cameron was making in Aberdeen when he was opening the newly refurbished Makro store.
  9. Dunno, when we played Bayern at Pittdrie earlier this year, there were plenty of amateurish errors but the fans got behind the players throughout the whole match.
  10. And how often have we packed Pittodrie to the rafters against teams like St Johnstone with cheap tickets deals only for the team to get stage fright?
  11. It was absolutely gutless, Miller's about the only player who earned his wages. If we have to put up with a whole season of Foster at right back, I'm seriously going to consider not going back. And to think, that's pretty damn close to our strongest team
  12. Rangers already have our tickets so I don't think we could sell them ourselves if we wanted to. However, I can't see how they are legally able to withhold money from us without our prior consent.
  13. Can't we just let the OF sell the tickets as normal but reject their proposal? There must be some sort of agreement/contract in place that would prevent a company withholding payment from another company without the consent of the supplying company?
  14. We're playing 352 formation: Langfield Mair Severin Considine Foster J Smith Kerr McDonald Mulgrew Miller Mackie The boy Lecsinel has been sent home for being unfit and has been replaced on the bench by Sefanja Davids.
  15. I see Club Bruges offered to fly us and pay all our expenses to play them in a friendly the day after our last game in Holland. It's a pity we couldn't accommodate that as it would have been a better test than most of the Dutch teams we'll be playing.
  16. Fergie's son wasn't a 27 year old salesman who had never played professional football in his life. Calderwood has no shame. Even this pre season trip looks a bit of a sham. He's got us lined up against his son's team, and a team he used to manage that he admits won't give us a challenge but it'll enable him to meet up with his mates. How is that better preparation than entering the InterToto Cup and give us a chance of playing in the UEFA Cup?
  17. If I have to suffer, I'm taking all you lot down with me.
  18. The twat who just robbed me of 60 seconds of my life after stupidly reading his "column" on the EE website: http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/747345?UserKey=0 Comedian my arse.
  19. Celtic Rangers Dundee Utd Hearts Motherwell Hibs ---------- Aberdeen Falkirk Kilmarnock St Mirren Hamilton ------------ Inverness
  20. As well as the ex-Falkirk French defender we have on trial who was deemed not good enough for a new contract at French 2nd division side Guingamp, we'll also have Dyon Camero on trial with us in Holland. He spent a week at Pittodrie back in April and has been playing for a Dutch amateur team since. Can't say they sound too promising.
  21. A big black Dutch guy apparently.
  22. He's not even that fast any more
  23. You wouldn't think it would be worth the hassle for them 5% of 4000 ticket at £20 a pop would earn them a measly £4000. And if they were to claim a share of the income, presumably, they'd have to incur an equivalent share of the cost of policing, stewarding and paying for pie sellers, etc too?
  24. He is unbelievably terrible.
