  1. His wages/value have nothing to do with it. He’s on the fringes of the Chelsea first team squad and in dire need of first team football. Chelsea have seen first hand the benefits of this for their current starting 11 (Mount and Abraham) and while the English Championship would probably be their preferred destination, we have a lot of goodwill from our role in developing James Maddison and Frank Lampard has first hand feedback on how well we treated Max Lowe who is now a regular starter for Derby. It’s nowhere near comparable with signing one of the highest paid players in the world. He plays in the same Scotland U21 team as Connor McLennan.
  2. McLennan wasn't great, but the Ghost of Gregg Wylde who came on to replace him managed to be even worse. I think we need to throw a bit more money at St Johnstone to get Kennedy in quicker. And get a proper advanced central midfielder in on loan (that Gilmour lad at Chelsea maybe?).
  3. Scott Arfield while doing that fucking salute.
  4. Glad I didn't bother driving through for it, saw the live coverage on Facebook and it looked dreadful.
  5. Hopefully it is a 6 month loan deal and we don’t do something stupid like give him a 3.5 year contract. That would be the prudent thing to do for someone troubled by injury and when fit can’t keep his place in a team that has Chris Maguire as it’s primary creative outlet.
  6. Never been impressed by McGeouch, he doesn’t seem to do anything particularly well, he’s just “tidy”. A modern day Mark Kerr.
  7. The only person I’ve seen advocating that is a professor from a university in Tehran who is noted for talking nonsense. No credible advice for UK nationals to avoid/leave UAE.
  8. I doubt we'll see anything other than a couple of English Championship loanees and someone that fits into McInnes' "I've heard of him and he's available" signing philosophy, probably Dylan McGeouch (gads).
  9. Fuck me what a depressing night in that sounds.
  10. When’s the last time a referee apologised to us?
  11. We were looking good until they scored after we missed a few sitters, no composure in our game now. Is there any reason for Jon Gallagher to ever be on the pitch when Connor McLennan is fit?
  12. Would have been better taking Leigh off instead of Main and keeping the shape that dominated the first half. After they put on an extra striker, the equaliser was inevitable, even if it was a brainfart by Devlin that caused it.
  13. Billy Davies is a bit mental these days:
  14. Typically what would be the chances of getting a relaxation on the height restriction a couple of years down the line after the local opposition has quietened down a bit?
  15. Naming one of the pitches after Willie Miller to me looks like they’re not expecting to have to think about naming stands at the stadium for a very long time. If they had to squeeze all their funding avenues just to get the training facilities done, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the stadium being quietly pushed to the background.
  16. Started today and put in an MOM performance.
  17. Nailed on to be an absolute hoof-fest, might as well play Cosgrove and Main together up front.
  18. That was an absolute robbery. Just about every player in red had a stinker, particularly McGinn who wasted the ball every time he touched it more or less. We got overrun and bullied all over the pitch, if they had a striker with an ounce of composure, they would have won comfortably.
  19. I don't know why McInnes is obsessed with these wanky short corner routines. We're quite successful at scoring from corners pumped straight into the box as Considine just demonstrated.
  20. It’s The Mountie
  21. What's with the shit short corner routine, has McGinn forgotten how to cross?
  22. It's on Red TV International.

    Derby County

He's easily good enough for that level, given a chance. It took Kenny McLean the best part of 6 months to get into the Norwich team, and he ended up being one of the first names on the team sheet in the latter part of the season. The main thing that will hold him back is that it'll be difficult to get the initial chance, and unless he makes an immediate impression, he's unlikely to get a decent run of games to establish himself. Russell Anderson had the same problem when he went down south initially.
  24. More likely to be the Killie left back I would think.
  25. Hopefully he has actually recovered and doesn’t end up out of action for months because McInnes doesn’t trust the 2 strikers he gave big contracts to 2 months ago.
