Going forward we actually looked alright today but a combination of an off day for Miovski and Marshall playing out his skin meant we didn’t score. Agree with comments above on not being able to have Clarkson and McGrath together in this formation. Barron has to start in place of one of them. If McKenzie is out long term then we need to get in another left back as we cannot continue with McGarry. He has no clue what he is doing defensively and causes other defenders to be out of position covering for him. Was not that impressed with his forward play either. Meant to add is that Shinnie suspended after the yellow card?

I was more meaning how I break to my wife and Bairn that I am fucking off to Germany for 10 days. In all fairness wife has already said she will only go over for last two games. Just a question of if I go out for first game and stay out or if I head back after the game then go back with her.

Happy enough with the draw. Could definitely have been a lot worse. Only complaint is the games being Munich, Cologne and Stuttgart is going to mean a bit of travelling for fans. I am lucky enough to be guaranteed tickets via Scotland Supporters club so now just to decide how to work this.

Agree with Manc that I would like to see Sokler and Miovski get more time as front pairing as thought they looked liked they could form a good partnership. Hibs will be desperate to get revenge for the semi final and most of their fans still feel they should have won the game. I thought Duncan, Barron and Roos were our best players in 1st half. Very surprised to see him going off.

Missed that as was at the game. That’s a shame for the lad as felt he had done enough to be our first choice at left back/wing back although his competition isn’t great. Have to hope McGarry has learned to defend in his time out.

No but was booking last minute flight as this was always possible. Hotel was free cancellation so no real loss.

We still have prize money to play for so don’t think we can afford not have a go at this. I would be surprised if there were many changes. Would expect McKenzie to come back in for Duncan but not much else. I don’t think McGarry showed enough on Sunday to move in front of McKenzie. Was supposed to be on my way to Helsinki this morning but work has interfered and can no longer make it. Number of games is mental. Europe obviously plays a part in it but we have two mid week fixtures in the league because of the winter break. Cannot see what benefit winter break brings if players are having to play this number of games in a short period to fit it in. Be interesting to see how Robson copes with the squad rotation as don’t think he has after European games so far.

Some draw for Buckie. It will be a doing but some financial boost.

Thought we started the game well and deserved to go ahead but as the half wore on the Tribute Act started to get more and more on top forcing a number of good saves from Roos. Lost count of the number of crosses they got in to our box. 2nd half we just sat to deep and invited Tribute Act on to us. Ref/VAR was eventually going to get a chance to give Tribute Act their obligatory penalty. Thought we got worse with subs. Sokler impressed although he should have scored his early chance. Miovski’s finish was excellent. I will be stunned if we keep him past the end of January.

Turns out there is a bus that leaves at 0745 that should get in 45 minutes before kick off so decided last minute to head up. Got feeling I am going to regret it. In bus then ground Y pub then bus. 3-0 no Dons scorer.

3rd round results Spartans beating Arbroath and getting Dick Campbell emptied probably the shock of the round. A Goodwin team losing to a lower league team has familiar feeling for some reason. Draw for 4th round where Dons come in is live on Sunday Sportscene.

Cannot see there being many changes in the team from last game unless anyone comes back injured from international duty other than McGrath coming back into team. I was not impressed with McGarry defensively before the injury so would not have been rushing him back into the team myself. Think first goal will be vital on Sunday. If it goes to them it could be a doing. Stupid kick off time means no train from the Capital to get to Aberdeen before kick off so now to decide between missing game and having to go up on the Saturday and staying over. Tribute Act seem to be playing better under the new manager which probably means we lose this one.

Finished 0-0. Scotland spent 90 minutes defending however had chance to win game at the death but Ben Doak missed a penalty. Barron probably best player for Scotland.
