  1. Mentioned in a few of the papers. Thought at the game he was lucky to get away with a booking.
  2. I just think he is shite. Half decent player sticks that cross in the net and piss poor one misses the goal. Wright missed the ball!!
  3. Best post on here in ages.
  4. Smith is probably our best player by a long way when he is fit but problem is he is never fit. I very much doubt he would be at Dons if he did not have problems with his fitness. I am still loath to see him being let go though and would like to see him being offered some sort of pay as you play deal.
  5. Excellent chance of making the semi finals but players have to focus on the job in hand first.
  6. Which has been paid and thanked for. I also remember all the sitters he has missed and for those he should not be rewarded with a 3 year contract. He should be on his way to play for Peterhead with our best wishes.
  7. 3 years!!! Cannot belive this usless twat has got another contract.
  8. According to East Fife site game is in doubt. Aberdeen v East Fife We have just spoken with Aberdeen FC who have informed us that although their pitch is fine the problem we now have is the approach roads to Pittodrie. The situation will be monitored by Grampian Police and a decision will be made, hopefully by 9am tomorrow morning. Safety of all supporters is paramount. We will update our website as soon as we have more information in the morning. Sadly my train is before 9 so will be on the way before the pitch inspection.
  9. One poor performance? What about Hamilton and Alloa?

  11. The bit in bold is the thing that frustrates me the most and is clearly a fault in Calderwoods style of management and imo the main reason we will never win anything with him as a manager. The other concern I have is that from what I have heard about Saturday the players put in the same shiftless and heartless performance that they put in against Hamilton and Alloa earlier in the month. There was no flu to use as an excuse this time and it looks more like to me that players are not getting motivated to play against these teams. This might be down to the attitude of the players but surely it is the job of the management team to get the players up for the games and this clearly is not happening all the time.
  12. From what has happened in the past it seems that its just a talking shop because when it comes to decisions Lex Gold just does what he wants or whatever Martin Bain and John Ried tell him to.
  13. Apart from putting Aluko back in the side who else can we bring in?
  14. Not replaced Hart at right back either and would argue that as poor as Clark was he is still a better player than Duff.
  15. Only reason for making Diamond Captain that I can see is that it would give us extra levarage on getting the fee up when we eventually sell him. Do not think there is any other reason as can still lose the heid a bit to easily for my liking.
  16. Agreed Ajja. It is not so much the players leaving that bothers me (fact of life for a club of our size) its the worry of if they will be replaced by a player of equal or better quality.
  17. Will not be bothering turning up to a testimonial for Mackie. I know has a local loon, would run through walls for the club etc but he is a pish footballer and should have been punted long ago.
  18. No but McVitie keeping fit might well be a major factor in them getting up or not.
  19. Seen Peterhead play with and without McVitie and they look like a far better team with him playing.
  20. Saw him play a couple of times for Peterhead and stood out in both games however as both games were in the 2nd division hard to tell how he would have faired at SPL level.
  21. A good player who will be hard to replace. Cannot think of any players on the go in Scotland that we could get into replace him that we could afford. Will leave us short of a centre half and a midfielder.
  22. Was going to ask the same question.
  23. Even at mediocre he was a better option than Mackie on the wing but if you cannot get a game for whatever reason in front of Mackie then I suppose it really is time to move on.
  24. Saturday was an oppertunity lost to give the worst Hun team I can recall seeing (and I am old enough to remember the pish Hun teams of the 80s) a right good doing. They were there for the taking but for what ever reason be it poor form or negative tactics we failed to do that. Was left feeling very frustrated on Saturday and a bit disappointed that so many Dons fans now see a negative 0-0 against a weak Hun team as a good result.
