  1. On a serious note those two pish teams will win our league by at least 20 points so how bad must the rest of us be.
  2. Hibs away as its only round the corner from my flat and I am to lazy to go any further.
  3. Pretty sure that the draw is ceded and that due to last seasons phenominal league finish we are not ceded unless St J, Caley or Well get knocked out.
  4. If he is selected for Algerian Olympic squad will miss three weeks of November.
  5. In/oot: oot Prematcher: Work Match: Probably watching a game on Sky postmatcher: Hopefully winding up my Dundee supporting brother about his pish team Prediction: Dons 2-0 Dundee - Brother reckons Dundee will struggle. Not the same team as last season so hopeful we will progress.
  6. Still not overlly convinced by him. Seems a bit of a bombscare at times. A bit like Langfield in that respect.
  7. Decent first half with Milsom and Osbourne being standouts. Vernons best game for a while and he took his goal well. 2nd half we reverted to type and were pretty poor. As soon as Caley moved Hayes into the middle and ran at us there we really struggled. Still overall better then last week and we got three points which is the important thing especially with us heading to Ibrox next week.
  8. Another embarrassing night for Scottish football in Europe.
  9. Have the club ever said how this wonderful new stadium is to be funded?
  10. How come Motherwell, Killie etc all seem to manage to sign decent players who are not injury prone so cannot see why we have to go gown that road.
  11. Thing is you could with this guy. He has only managed an average of 20 games a season since his major injury so was a pretty fair bet that he would be out injured a fair bit.
  12. In/Out: In Pre match: Pub in town somewhere Match: Section Y Post Match: Family BBQ Prediction: 1-0 through either a penalty or og
  13. Was never on as he is not a defensive midfielder.
  14. McCarthy has said before he is not interested in loaning players out to SPL so cannot see this happening. However would be a decent signing if it does.
  15. Delusional is the only word to descride Brown's after match comments.
  16. Agreed at least one full back, winger and striker must come in if we are to have any hope of avoiding another long painful season fighting relegation. Sadly doubt we will get even that many.
  17. Lack of width, fuck all creation and playing that fucking clown McArdle at right back killed us today. Brown must get in decent full back, a winger and a decent striker in next couple of weeks if he is to avoid the fate the previous manager.
  18. In/Out: In Pre match: Roseburn Match: Away end Post Match: Globe if we win or home to sit and sulk in a darkened room if we lose Prediction: Pub by half time
  19. Barrel scraping again.
  20. Brown will be telling us how he is uping his search for a striker.
  21. Bit worrying that he is coming out with that already. That is ususally a managers stock excuse after first couple of months of not winning games.
  22. Could easily had two more sent off as well (although Malmo could have had one more away) with McCulloch and Naismith very lucky not to join the other two. They actually were the better side tonight as well and would have probably won if it wasnot for their players losing the plot.
  23. Pretty sure Brown has already tried him there in a couple of firendlies towards the end of last season.
  24. Need a winger/creative mid as well. When he first came in Brown said he would not be repeating the mistakes of the previous incumbent but here we are starting the season with a squad that is totally unbalanced and missing at least one full back just like last season. Brown did what he was brought into do and stopped us going down. Is he capable of doing much more than making us hard to beat and keeping us up I am not so sure and less convinced everytime I hear him speak.
