Would be tempted to go with both May and Rooney through the middle from the start in this one. Cannot see the need for 2 holding midfielders against Partick should should be able to play an old fashioned 4-4-2. He got his initial tactics wrong then his change at half time actaully made things worse. I fear next week could be an even bigger doing.

Is the correct response. However as long as there are signs of progress like finishing with more points than the season before, improving the league position or progressing a round further in Europe then I think that is acceptable as if you keep moving forward the trophies will come.

Shinnie being out will be a big miss in this game. In previous 2 games we have bossed the Hibs midfield which has given us the platform to win the games. Shinnie has been a big part of this. Was not impressed. Kicking is poor and does not seem to command his box. Cannot see that he is any better than Rogers. Not helped by a very poor defence in front of him. O'Connor is awful.
