Following pitch inspection by referee Steven McLean, the match today between Livingston v Aberdeen has been called off. Snow overnight and freezing temperatures has meant some part of the pitch at Almondvale are still frozen.

  18. Sunday was a very pleasant surprise football wise, so i'd hope that there isn't much reason to change that against the bottom side. Get at them from the get go and hopefully score a goal earlier than we did at the weekend. We've been linked with their boy Magennis, but i'm not sure it's a department we need to strengthen right now (even if we do ship one out). He's also not played since Jan so we don't need to be signing an injured player. They're on the back of five straight losses, so we really shouldn't have anything to fear. Really hoping that Watkins kicks on from here. Out (obviously) Bed Probably watching it Family duties 2-0 dons, Hayes and Wright
  19. Back to league action after our exit from euro qualifying action. Haven't lost there since December 2016 and it's a fixture that usually provides goals (average 2.7 goals between the sides). Their form has been pretty patchy, and both teams got pumped in their last game. They are also just below us in the table and a loss could see us slip from fourth to sixth (if the Arabs actually win) I'd like to see us return to the 3 at the back and also keep the Wright / Hedges thing going. But hopefully we never see McCrorie at RB again. Another of DM's failed experiments. When is Kennedy due back from injury? 2-2, Hayes and Ferguson
  20. Game scheduled for 17th sept. KO time tbc as far as I can see. midway through their season and sit tenth in the table. it’s not been going well for them but they have won their last two games following two draws so they may be turning things around. Especially given the last victory was against second placed Molde, the one prior to the team who was just above them. Play as professionally as we can and we should be ok, but I don’t share the confidence of others. Plastic pitch will be to their advantage . Guess we’ll find out the game before as to how DM will be considering to tackle this tie.
  21. Hard to judge killie at the moment. Pumped the arabs (who sit above them still) but have by and large been pish. We should be fine, given our recent upturn in form, we should have enough to take the 3 points providing logical team selections. killie haven’t won at pittodrie for almost two years , and prior to that you had to go back to 2012. not sure if Mains return from injury has been hampered? out bed bed bed 2-0 dons, McCrorie and wright
  22. Be interesting to see if it was squad rotation or some get dropped altogether. Would be classic DM to drop Wright after scoring. The guy scores a good goal after some decent play, that’s what we should be trying to encourage. Seems like McGinn is possibly unlikely to feature due to injury, but that’s our only major doubt (apart from those already out). Anyway, this lot got pumped by hibs not that long ago so we really should have enough in the locker to see them off with a professional performance. Hopefully it’s just not boring as watching paint dry. Their form is a bit patchy of late, despite their 5-1 demolition of Barry town in the last round. Out bed work work 2-0 dons, Main and hedges
  23. Usually I’d say that this is normally a horrific watch, so it obviously makes sense to have it on tv, but given there are no fans and all games are viewable remotely , it doesn’t really make much of a difference . Never enjoy these games. will they be a different beast without wright? Draw against the arabs on the first day is hard to judge, as they played half the game with 10 men, so I imagine we’ll see another cautious McInnes set up. Really hope we don’t try and accommodate the same three central midfielders , it didn’t work. I have no doubt we will see anderson on the bench, but I’d like to see either mcginn alongside him or Edmondson. Play to his strength please DM. out bed night feed bed 1-1 , mcginn
