  1. With Hornby allegedly being sick all week it’s is likely to be St Johnstone’s 4th choice striker up front from Saturday unless we go with McGinn.
  2. At last a piece of good news. Greg Leigh out for the season. https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/donsnews/aberdeen-defender-greg-leigh-out-for-the-season-with-a-hamstring-injury/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
  3. Another dodgy penalty. No contact on at all on Taylor when he went over.
  4. To be fair I think it was Rico that first brought up the inverted wingers and I just agreed with him. Really need to see a reaction from the team from management down but I thought that after Livingston and we actually got worse not better. Hopefully Kamberi will arrive this week and he will be available for Saturday to give us another option up front. Really think we need to go back to 4 at the back. Oot park with bairn tv flat 1-0 Ferguson.
  5. Three was fine when it was Hoban, McKenna and Considine but now McKenna is away Taylor doesn’t have the positional discipline to play a three and Leigh is just shite. Agree we need to go back to a 4. I would have Hoban and Considine as centre backs and Logan and Hayes as fullbacks. Would think 5 in midfield (call it 2-3 if you must) is best option with the players we have. Not convinced that any of the three strikers are suited to play as lone striker but don’t think we have option of going with two strikers if we are abandoning 3 at the back.
  6. Tommy Wright confirmed as new Killie manager. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55963647
  7. Yup usually the kiss of death.
  8. Looked better than anything produced by either of our forwards in last two games which makes him good enough for Aberdeen at the moment.
  9. Anderson playing full 90 minutes for Accies this time. Played well forcing McGregor into several good saves including the one he parried to Callaghan for the equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Tribute Act.
  10. Tommy Wright about to be appointed Killie manager according to BBC. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55939904
  11. Really hope not.
  12. Can have no complaints about that other than soft penalty. We would still have lost even if they were not awarded it. We were hopeless at the back from the off. Zero creation in midfield and zero up front. Ferguson was totally out of his depth trying to support striker. Though McGeouch was our best player. Need him to stay fit. The inverted winger thing has to change. Simply not working. Disagree with comments on Hornby Rico though he played well enough and unlucky not to score while Hendry looked every inch a player who was 4th choice as St Johnstone. Cannot fault his effort but zero ability or positional sense. Despite rumours cannot see McInnes being punted until summer. He has not even had the chance to field Kamberi at left back yet.
  13. Never a penalty.
  14. Leigh off injured after 5 minutes. Got his feet all wrong trying to clear and injured himself.
  15. That goes without saying. Looks like plan is to get crosses into a striker who says his strength is ball to feet.
  16. Looks 4-5-1 to me.
  17. Taylor starts which is a surprise.
  18. My employers actually do regularly check employees social media (even had one of HR team mention they noticed I wasn’t active on social media) so it does happen. The club should not be telling players who they cannot speak too but at the same time maybe a wee bit of education on how to use it and present themselves might be a good idea. Nothing wrong with wishing one of their mates good luck at their new job as bench warmer at a vile bigoted evil empire but maybe have them being educated enough to keep it to a private message so as not too publicly link themselves to said evil empire.
  19. As long as it is a condition that he gets a proper mans haircut then fine with this.
  20. Hedges likely out for the season.
  21. ÂŁ15 for the Hibs PPV. Bit on the expensive side but probably cave in and buy it.
  22. I couldn’t get initial link to work but found this. https://www.whatastramash.com/home/2021/2/3/malaise Pretty well written but most of the points have been raised here and elsewhere about McInnes. As I said above I do not see anything happening until the summer at the earliest due to current financial restraints.
  23. Another game, another wild challenge with no red card. Not getting the decisions though.
  24. Really need to win this one. If we lose we are probably looking at 4th at best. If Taylor is out would be tempted to go to back 4 with Logan at right back and Hayes at left back to avoid allowing Boyle getting to roast Leigh. If Hedges is out we really are lacking any creation in the team. Might see McGeouch playing beside McCrorie with Ferguson being pushed further forward to try and support Hornby or Kamberi if his paperwork is through. Cannot believe there are folk talking of dropping Lewis. He did make an error last night but he is still a really good keeper. The only constant this season is Hibs being inconsistent. They are favourites for Saturday which is when they usually fuck up. oot but almost close enough to be in. flat hanging flag out tv flat 1-1 Ferguson.
  25. Anderson started for Accies tonight and played for 79 minutes but didn’t score in Accies 2-1 defeat.
