Ramirez was one who (according to my wife) was off on holiday again during the current international break. Assume there will have been others. Would have thought with the change of management those not on international duty would have stayed to work with new management team to help develop an understanding prior to next two games.

Was at Kelty Hearts v Stenhousemuir today. Kieran Ngwenya played well it not really tested. Put in some really good crosses and looked comfortable on the ball. League winner now as well. As an aside that’s me back to having visited all 42 league grounds. Should be alright for next season or so as already been to grounds of teams who are likely come up this season.

Thought Scotland played well in stages tonight and were unlucky not to have got another goal at least. Thought Ross Stewart might have got a run and agree with those questioning Hickey not starting. Big Polish support there tonight. Made plenty of noise.

Was at Alloa v Peterhead on Saturday. Ryan Duncan was not as dominant as he was last time I saw Peterhead but still managed to hit the post and miss a sitter. He is allegedly getting over COVID which may be the reason he was not as sharp as he was in the last game.

Purely from a selfish point of view I will qualify for a ticket in Austria but won’t if it’s Wales so will be will cheering Austria on from my seat at Hampden tonight.
