If you were shady, you’d be bonkers to accept a move to Mansfield or Stockport over euro football. There’s a common theme with those clubs though (Luton included), they’re all shiteholes. At least Stockport is a quick train to manc mind.

Nix followed on from Sydney by beating Wrexham in the third of their down under friendly games. A largely academy based team beat them 1-0, be interesting to see how the next raft of nix youth develop and where they end up. Wrexham just signed arguably my favourite kiwi left back (also a nix graduate), who’s been plying his trade with empoli. Unfortunately it was too close to this game so he couldn’t make an appearance at his home stadium. I’d have loved us to sign him before we’d signed mcgarry but oh well, he’s now well and truly out of our reach.

I’d try and get him on a new deal and say if an offer of x million comes in, we’ll let you go. Would be quite hard to replace, if we’re honest. He is a super sub and has changed plenty of games. I don’t want to see him leave for free, not after all the time and effort we’ve put into him.

Well, they are the best in the region (OFC), but that may all change with the attempts of the OFC pro league coming in. But I don’t disagree with your point though. I get the idea of spreading money around the world, but giving one club in a very small pot an exorbitant amount would seem to likely provide the exact opposite out they’d like.

The mugs over the years (probably last 10 years or so) have consistently got worse. They used to have proper through colour ones that didn’t fade. My folks informed me on my return that one id had for 20 odd years had recently lost its handle was a good latte sized one too. Anyway, had considered the cup final mug, but the above points have put me off.

Was hoping to buy a couple of things from the shop while I was over, but the range this season doesn’t seem to be as good. Will have to make do with the alternative for the strips, but even other stuff just doesn’t seem to be great. Wooly hats aside.
