  1. Definitely has special screws, the fuckers don't make it easy. I'm leaning towards Tom's idea that Apple probably think 7 years is time for a new one...
  2. This is going to be a huge week for us. We could end up being joint second from bottom come the end but of it. I watched most of the second, we were lucky to avoid a pumping but I actually missed their second goal. Need some amount of skill and good fortune to pick something up on Wednesday.
  3. Would love this to be right!
  4. I've had my macbook (retina display) for nigh on 7 years, and the other day a vertical white line appeared on screen and has not shifted. I'm figuring its something LED related or however the retina display works, but is it salvagable? It's very thin at the mo, but it's dead zone and i'm hoping there is either a fix or it won't expand. Cheers
  5. well, you didn’t predict 4/4 defeats, so varying degrees of optimism, granted. I genuinely can’t see where our next 3 points come from. im with Jute on Glass this week, I really expected him to fight for his player but I didn’t think he did. Haven’t listened to his pre matcher, but I wasn’t impressed with what I read / heard this week. I want him to be successful with us, and really hope you’re right @tlg1903
  6. Admire the optimism, but given they got papped out of europa league, I expect they'll be pissed and want to redeem themselves. Annoying really as their defence really aren't all that, but I don't think we have the skill to capitalise on that.
  7. It’s what I don’t get, how folk can say we won’t be in the mix at the bottom, where’s the evidence of this?
  8. Voted for fair play award. Can someone check in on Jute?
  9. Not looking forward to this. Celtic, whilst still a bit erratic have definitely had an uptick in form since we played them last. We had a flutter of success and returned to default. We've had a lot of bad luck this season, but we've also made a helluva lot of bad decisions. If we manage to get out backline playing like it did a few weeks back, we might have a shot as they're still not the polished article. Ramirez has shown he can take decent chances if presented to him, but he needs the service. When is Ramsay due back? Has there been any word on MacKenzie? Not sure where Hedges' head is at (apart from elsewhere), but he needs to keep it simple. We are too reliant on him, but we are where we are. Was hoping he and Watkins may rekindle their form from his previous time, would be a nice time for this to click. Bed Bed Bed 2-0 tims, no dons scorer
  10. Its Scotland, i'm not surprised. Same old shite.
  11. Has anything more come of that fat jute bastard? Surely the club aren’t going to let him get away with it. very much in agreement with you tlg. I think I read somewhere we’d played the same defensive line up twice? Consistency is always key and the rest follows. Then needs to be the creativity. We’re definitely easier on the eye this season, but not clinical enough. Who those players are we need to bring in, I don’t know.
  12. Ojos sending off is ridiculous. Only thing I’ve seen from the game and probably will remain that way. Shite state of affairs. Can only be unlucky for so long.
  13. Let's hope its due to the latter
  14. FFS. Gio as manager. That's a reasonable appointment
  15. Big one coming up, arabs have had a reasonable season so far despite not scoring that many goals. Mulgrew seems to be quite important for them and they’re 6 points clear of us. we also need to get back to winning ways. The Motherwell game, whilst being a potential banana skin (and turning out to be so) was a disappointment as it was like the previous week had been forgotten. Not got our usual place in the shed but hopefully the noise will be decent enough from our fans. hibs (level on points but just above us) have two games on us so we need to try and claw some ground as they’ll likely get four points from those fixtures. And that’s forgetting the number of teams below us who are on level points or within spitting distance of us. Pressure is most definitely on. Motherwell on 18 points are just above hibs. Don’t think we can really look up the league table yet. Not sure where we are on the injury front but would hope no one picked up an additional injury during the break. out bed bed bed 1-1, Ramirez
  16. Thought I’d posted yesterday but was still in my drafts. That was an epic watch. Hampden looked like it was raucous (had it on mute as it was office reception) but managed to time my venturings with the goals. What a finish for the second, but would echo what everyone else has said. Ran themselves ragid and I think made it very difficult for the Danes to play. They’re a very good side and we saw what they could do in the second half as they started to control the game. But we kept our cool and some terrific work at the back kept us in it. First time in a long time, I was jealous of those at the game and wanted to be back.
  17. The Danes fielding pretty much a full strength team? Genuine question, I don't know. have managed to get the receptionist to put the game on, so hopefully be able to nip out and sneak a few mins here at there.
  18. I see we’ve got a card happy ref for this game. Just what we need
  19. hun tears have been great. I want much more of this please
  20. He’s a shoe in. The media will make sure they get their man into stybrox . Hun tears are excellent so far
  21. Welcome aboard the intl' crew!
  22. Was gonna say, I’m not sure that’s saying much
  23. Yasss booking my flights back as we speak
  24. Following the release of Aberdeen City Council’s latest City Centre Masterplan Committee Report published today, Aberdeen FC Chairman, Dave Cormack, said: “We welcome the Council’s progress with their ambitious vision for the city centre and the regeneration of the beachfront which includes an integrated leisure arena with an ice rink and new stadium with community facilities. “The scale of the vision and the pace at which it’s being taken forward signal the Council’s real ambition for our city, which the Club shares. The revitalisation of the beachfront, with a new stadium as a stunning focal point would, we believe, provide a compelling destination attracting locals and visitors. It is exactly the type of forward thinking which is required as Aberdeen rises to meet the challenges which the city was already facing before the pandemic. It will provide a real stimulus as we embark on the road to recovery from both the pandemic and the shift away from reliance on fossil fuels. “The report and images released by the Council today demonstrate the “art of the possible” recognising that the project is still at an early stage of development. The Club will work with the Council and its consultants to provide input as they develop a detailed business case and funding plan for the project.” taken from the club website : https://www.afc.co.uk/2021/11/05/city-centre-masterplan-committee-report/
