  1. And i'd agree with that; however I think he lost the plot long before that. It was the straw that broke the camels back if you will or at least in public anyway. He was clearly pissed off about something over the summer. a lot of people down here have put it down to "lack of support" in the transfer market. Can't believe you've compared us to the London Huns though...
  2. Can knock a few off here, something positive anyway! 90 89 88 87 86 85 - BigAl 84 83 - Josh Barrie (chosen for obvious reasons) 82 - Dandy 81 MBT 80 - Nellie The Don 79 - Jute 78 - Edinburghdon 77 - rocket_scientist 76 - Tyrant 75 - manc 74 73 72 71 70 69 - Tom W 68 67 - Wi_09 66 65 64 63 62 61 60 59 58 57 56 55 54 53 52 51 50 49 48 47 46 45 44 43 42 41 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 25 24 23 22 21 20
  3. I rest my case, it's not without reason either. Mourinho has lost the plot, the Eva Carniera situation just highlighted that. I'm not disagreeing with what Rico says, it's equally as plausible as we don't know what the fuck is going on. Until the situation is resolved one way or another, we'll never know. I guess it makes it all the more frustrating given the start we had. Probably beyond our wildest expectations.
  4. I'd like to hope it wasn't that either, but something is definitely up. No teams form drops so dramatically without reason. Edit: as Rocket says.
  5. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-pub-trafford-bans-10327761 I applaud this pub for taking this stance. Absolute joke that at a domestic fixture you can get these.
  6. A season that had so much potential and probably the best squad we've had in yonks is going to down the pan drastically. Shite state of affairs. All my non-dons mates are loving this Even with all this though, surely it doesn't explain some of his completely random substitution choices?
  7. Great to see Bb, how's the season going for you guys?
  8. What is it with Sunderland and sacking their manager before a Derby, with the new manager beating the Barcodes!?
  9. This will definitely be the making of his career with us. If he can reverse this slump, it will prove a massive test of character. Something has happened, there is no other logical explanation; however we shouldn't dwell on why it's more a case of how we can change this awful form. I'd like to think this is a blip, but it's a fucking awful one at that. All the good work is about to be undone. Let's hope he can turn it around and we start to perform like we had done earlier in the season.
  10. Well, the All Blacks ground out a result against the saffas last night, quite a game. Hopefully the argies beat the convicts today
  11. Said the same to a few other yesterday bobby, something has changed and it doesn't sound like they're playing for the manager anymore. I saw a few fezbook posts questioning jacks captaincy and I'd say they're right to do so. I wonder whether Reynolds should regain the captaincy or even McLean. Someone that will lead by example. I know there were certainly murmurings of discontent in the dressing room after the hibs game. Something isn't right. Was the Reynolds goal correctly ruled out for offside? Predicted a point, we've at least stopped the slide, but we really need to start fucking playing again.
  12. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/aberdeen/1331176-the-real-state-of-the-scottish-game-how-our-top-flight-compares-to-europe/ Interesting read and confirms what we all expected, Neil Doncaster is an absolute moron and selling the league short. The latest deal would be a prime example. TV companies must have laughed him out the building with their agreement, given the probable hunnery promotion. Also, surprisingly our wage bill is 50% higher than the 3rd highest wage bill. I'm presuming it is the Arabs but could be wrong. You could argue that on that basis alone we should be achieving a bit more.
  13. Anyone heading along to the blue lamp fan zone?
  14. Not been to either but I've wanted to go to La Famiglia for a while. Looks like an ace little restaurant. We managed to get tickets for the second weekend. My favourite bit is the cubes, you'll know why when you see it.
  15. I went a few weeks back, brilliant exhibition! You'll enjoy it.
  16. Two things are certain, that back line needs to play and Rooney needs to be up top. I'd agree with Smith although i'm not sure what his current form is for the u-20's. Jack should provide some solidity though his form has been suspect of late as well. I just want McGee to be greetin, because that means we would have done our job and won.
  17. Commons' reaction to being subbed is hilarious. Let's hope it's the start of some discontent in their camp
  18. Nice initiative from the club, hopefully it'll attract a few more through the gate despite the current slip in form. Although i'd imagine there would be more turning up on the day if it were a cash gate...
  19. Glad to see one of the Dons teams has got back to winning ways, u-20's with a 3-0 win against Partick Thistle. PL, you make it along to it this week?
  20. I don't know enough about it to be honest, but something I intend to learn more about. Though I would agree about your last sentence, that much is clear. I know we always joke (I certainly do to my german friend - and even they agree) that it's just a more acceptable way of them taking over Europe. That doesn't really bother me though. I don't think it would really bother me if we were in or out of the EU.
  21. Some result by arsenal given bayerns form of late. How that official made that call is beyond me, even Ian Wright said he must have made a guess. Highly unlikely he saw it!
  22. Not sure where you're getting your optimism from but please pass it on to the team! Really hope we get back to winning ways, I don't care how, but we need to arrest this collapse in form. The team are capable of putting another run together, but need to get back to doing the basics as you say. Also, I want to make sure Magoo is crying into his potato salad. Cunt. Out hungover town or listening online hopefully celebrating 2-2, Rooney and Quinn All this said, it all depends on how DM lines up our back line. If he's sensible and plays the best 4 available, we should be ok.
  23. I'd agree. I see the report has confirmed that he was wrong but he is still a world class referee.
  24. Where are you seeing this For me, it's anyone but the Aussies. I would hate having to hear them bleat on about it. Horrible sporting nation.
