  1. Fucksake, the lack of any news / gossip is worrying, especially with one week to go. Surely McInnes cannot be happy with the squad as it is? We're going to get torn a new one against teams that can play a bit of football.
  2. I genuinely couldn't give two shits about the Scotland team anymore. It's just an inconvenience now that stops the domestic season. It's a farce that Shinnie isn't in the squad, let alone mccormack or arfield. But are you really surprised or bothered?
  3. Not bothering starting a new topic on this one but the P&J reporting that he's going to sign a new deal. Would be delighted if this is the case.
  4. Impressive. Terrible game so far.
  5. Cunts. Albeit it was probably inevitable given magoos inability to live life as a human being.
  6. Glad to see we've managed to get off the mark finally! McGinns goal was decent
  7. Joys of drunken posting. Quite certain that he did say that in an early interview.
  8. I think o'connor states in his interview that his preferred position is centre half. I may be making that up but have a distinct memory that that was said.
  9. Couldn't believe it when I saw it. Possibly thought it was out of bounds and needed to be put back in play?
  10. He seems to constantly want to bring McLean on for Burns when Burns is actually having a decent game. I haven't bothered watching the two league games so far purely on the basis that from what people have said about them hasn't enthused me to do so. I think DM is hoping McLean will come good, possibly by magic or fluke, I'm not sure. It is however, clearly not working for the team at the moment. Bit of a shame to read Pawlett was actually pointless again. Was hoping that he may be turning it around.
  11. The folk trying to pick the ball up at the golf amused the hell out of me Thrilling match between Murray and del Potro. Always like del Potro's game but you could tell that Murray not only wanted it more, but his fitness was far superior.
  12. Some brilliant golds today and some excellent cycling! Murray currently 1 set up against Del Potro but 3-2 down in the second set.
  13. Its great to read that we appear to be much more solid at the back, but I really don't like seeing someone other than Shinnie at left back. I think someone else alluded to it either in this thread or another about our width. Him not playing there leaves as narrow and one dimensional. We seriously need to start a) creating chances b) taking them. It seriously concerns me that when Hayes is out, we always do fuck all. No point in having a striker like stockley if he's not getting any service whatsoever. How did burns play? Did DM sub him off again? Nice to read elsewhere that Pawlett was motm. I was really surprised at his inclusion, maybe the benching is exactly what he needed.
  14. I'd agree with that, certainly at the moment anyway. Confident he'll develop but we've lost Robson and flood, not replaced them. Squad is still thin (apart from up top and possibly at the back). A few injuries and we're fucked again.
  15. Christ, feels like a lifetime ago! Nearly 1,000 Dandies there last night, no doubt the central belt based dandies were well represented
  16. Haha i'll happily support England in the cricket but Rugby, not sure if I could bring myself to do it. That said, i'm not in Oz so can't really comment. It's always a shame that there is no way for them both to lose At least the convicts are out of the 7's Excellent gold medal for Joe Clarke last night, stunning effort. The Italian guy who lost his shit was hilarious, so Italian Time Trials yesterday looked brutal, only caught the womens during my lunch break but the weather was pretty horrific. Hopefully the weather improves today!
  17. It's good we've started the campaign without conceding, but you're right. We need to take these chances or we're going to be on the end of too many draws or worse even, defeats. Hopefully they find their shooting boots! Hopefully O'Connor keeps his place too...
  18. I'm thinking McInnes is hoping that O'Connor is the answer at CB, but i'm still hoping we're looking at a CM. I hate seeing Shinnie in midfield, ideally we need another one of him!
  19. One of the reasons I would never move to Oz! They are equally as bad as the Americans. Yanks of the southern hemisphere. Unbearable with victories, people go on about the English, but fuck me, these guys take it to another level.
  20. That's his tally at 4 for them is it not? Has he even scored that many for us? I always liked him, hopefully the loan spell does him the world of good.
  21. Sounds like we passed up a shite load of chances? Really need to start to taking chances. A wins a win in the cup though
  22. I'd generally agree with that, sensible line up. Minus McLean, think we need to see what someone else can offer in that position.
  23. Oh yes, there'll be no way she'll avoid it
