  1. I know he's not available for the game on Thursday, but I'd suggest while we're in Europe, we keep him. He was one of the better players last week.
  2. Confirmed as showing the away leg. They are showing Hearts' away leg on Thursday.
  3. I do wonder if the club are missing a trick here. I see Hearts are charging £12 across the board for their Europa qualifiers to make sure they get a full house, whereas our cheapest ticket is £20. We really need Pittodrie rocking for this game.
  4. I wouldn't be against this at all. I've found his contributions at a bare minimum (bar that goal last season). It's a massive shame but he's just not living up to his earlier promise. A loan stint might just get his confidence up again. If he does go though, we need to bring someone else in or we're still not achieving any squad depth.
  5. Well you were right about the one moment of magic. Excellent strike. It was a horrific final though.
  6. What a shite final so far.
  7. He really needs to see that Taylor is shite. Glad to hear two of the new boys were decent. What about the other new signings, any of them get a run out?
  8. Dons win 4-2 against East Fife. Goals from Rooney, o'connor and two from stockley.
  9. So predictions for today? I have a worrying feeling that Portugal might actually do it today. France are quite shite at the back. Depends on which Portugal turn up mind.

    Andy Murray

Haha true enough, I was referring to Fred perry's record of 10 grand slam finals

    Andy Murray

Murray through to his 11th grand slam final, which now breaks Fred perry's record. Will be playing raonic after his beat Federer in the earlier game
  12. Ventspils comfortably got through their tie 4-0 on aggregate and will probably provide a tough test to the team. Hopefully the team and management have got their act together by then and we start playing football again. Yesterday was unacceptable and hopefully the only time we play like that under mcinnes' reign. I don't think that formation is working for us. Will be good to see what storey adds in to the mix. No confirmation as to whether this will be televised as yet, but I'm sure premier sports have the away leg.
  13. I'm still not over how bad that was. I don't care if that was the second competitive game, we play like that again and it will be a mcghee esque Celtic Park scoreline. Truly one of the worst performances I've ever seen from an Aberdeen side. And that takes some beating. Still, we're through (not sure how). I hope we never play like that again under McInnes and it was an off day.
  14. Well that was as clear a pen as you can see. How the ref booked Rooney for it is beyond me.
  15. Was thinking the same BigAl. Fucking horrific stuff.
  16. Had zero service today. Looked knackered when he came off too. Hopefully Rooney makes the difference
  17. Agreed. We look honking. No support for any forward movement. Can't see us scoring today. So far, nothing has changed from the team at the end of the season. Lacklustre.
  18. Team for tonight, will be interesting to see what O'Connor adds in the middle.
  19. I still find it unbelievable that the "rebel" mps haven't been lynched. Their behaviour is an absolute disgrace but little wonder that these are the ones who voted for the war. No wonder they're trying to cover themselves. Well done to corbyn for staying strong, if that isn't strong leadership, I don't know what is. He has been harassed and bullied from day one but hasn't given up on his mandate to serve those who voted him in and not his beneficiaries (fellow mps). It's almost like they forgot why they're there in the first place. I was also very pleased to hear the mother calling bliar the world's biggest terrorist. Completely accurate. He put on his priministerial voice yesterday, but the lies were there for all to hear. Chilcot for want of a better word called him incompetent in his planning and dealings with this farcical war. How I would love to see him suffer in the hague. Not once has he said he's repentant for his actions, indeed he said he'd do it again. Absolute arsehole.
  20. Sad to see Wales out, but as Jute said in the other thread, they looked like a completely different team without Ramsey. Still, fantastic effort, not bad reaching a semi-final in your first appearance in a major championship for 58 odd years or whatever it is.
  21. Good to see McGinn is getting a well earned rest. Not in the squad for tonight.
  22. Messi sentenced to 21 months imprisonment for tax fraud, presume it will be a delayed sentence?
  23. Yes, it lies further north! Would be very pleased if this happened.
  24. Seems like he had passport issues too. In other news, Super Kev is joining up with Caley for a trial. Never wanted to see him at another Scottish club
  25. Public consultation starts on 25 July. Anyone intending on going along?
