    Celeb Deaths

Sad news, always came across well on TV and in interviews. What he and Elton John achieved at Watford was remarkable.
  2. Latest one has the one and only Rico (not our one ) http://www.bytheminute.co/podcasts/bytheminafc/461
  3. Was still in the US on an extended break as far as I knew. Think it was in an article I read this morning.
  4. That's how I read it too, quite refreshing really. Just hope Jack responds in the way we all hope he will
  5. Surprise, surprise, the charge against that hun prick kiernan were dropped
  6. McInnes on Hayes: http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/15017138.Shots_fired_in_Dubai_sunshine_as_Derek_McInnes_targets_keeping_Aberdeen_stars/?ref=twtrec
  7. Fair enough, I more meant that a new CM is the bare minimum. If we got another CB or start to blood McKenna, great, but i'd be happy with a CM. As I said, the squad in the main is good, but the center of the park is where we are being bossed. I see Storey is being linked with a loan to Killie - apologies for the source: https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/422089/kilmarnock-boss-lee-clark-wants-to-land-aberdeen-striker-miles-storey-on-loan/?CMP=spklr-_-Editorial-_-TWITTER-_-scotsunsport-_-20170112-_-775300578
  8. Thanks I can, but it's always easier this way
  9. Looks ace! It's the biggest draw back about living in London, hills. Have to travel a few miles to get to them, but the Surrey Hills, South Downs etc are spectacular if just a bit too busy. Could imagine running into a boulder would dent the confidence, same happened to a colleague of mine. Don't think he's done any downhill riding since. There's a race in Mallorca that a few of my mates have been trying to do, if it had been any other years previously i'd have done it but need to save some serious cash now. Everyone's raved about the roads in Spain, far fewer pot holes!
  10. Is there a video of his press conference yesterday? I've only seen snippets of it and it looked like a car crash. Also, got a link to the Buzzfeed article?
  11. If that's all that came in, I would be very pleased. We have the creativity in the team, it just doesn't need to be shunted about left, right and center. A CM will allow players to play in their position, it is a good squad. Sadly, I think you're all right about the 7 figure, but that said, it depends on what kind of 7 figure. £2m and I'd say over to you Jonny, anything less, go fish. Regardless, I don't want Jonny going.
  12. I read somewhere yesterday that we were looking to extend burns' loan, but he has offers from England so up to the player. According to this guy, Cardiff are coming back with another bid - no idea about the validity of the source: http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/01/11/gb-cardiff-to-make-new-jonny-hayes-offer/?utm_medium=share%2Bbutton&utm_campaign=social%2Bmedia&utm_content=/en-gb/2017/01/11/gb-cardiff-to-make-new-jonny-hayes-offer/ Personally, o'halloran is a cunt and not worthy of lacing Hayes' boots.
  13. Entertaining game, how Southampton didn't score more is beyond me. Really should have ended 3 or 4-0. I'd imagine the scourers will turn it around at home.
  14. Same as you obviously
  15. Can see Strachan too, on the next pier along, second block from bottom
  16. Saints one up at the bin dippers. What's with the applause, was the Southampton fan terminally ill or something?
  17. As sad as it is true couldnt have put it better Bobby. The games a sham.
  18. Didn't realise the Spaniards were so hot on nicking bikes. Had it happen to me once before in London, more due to my own stupidity and it's a lesson I learned very quickly! Still doesn't take away from the fact it's a shit thing to do! We're you going downhill when you had your crash, Málaga? I never ever got round to trying it on a mountain bike, feel I don't have the balls to do it these days. Get the fear, despite being OK gunning it down a road on a road bike! Can imagine there would be some cracking down hills there. One of my bosses regularly spends 3-4k on a bike, I say regularly but he's done it three times since I've been there (over 7 years). It's easily done, but I don't think it's worth it unless you're doing comps or something thats time dependent. Have a very good spec on my bike, for what I need it to do, but upgrading would only see marginal gains. Doesn't seem worth it. That said, might be different for a mountain bike! You got disk brakes on yours?
  19. Nice one! Will probably take you up on that closer to the time. Any areas in particular you'd recommend for an overnighter?

    Films

Watched our kind of traitor the other day which was adapted from John le carre's book. Was decent enough but occasionally a bit dull and predictable. Wouldn't go out of your way to go see it.
  21. I thought Cardiff were skint, which would explain that derisory offer. They are a club on the down, fuck them.
  22. More changes!
  23. Big into road cycling. Grew up in Holland so have always ridden a bike apart from the time I was at uni (which felt weird). Used to have a mountain bike during my teens then moved onto a Hybrid when I moved to London. Got me into cycling again and upgraded to a Cube road bike via the Cycle to Work scheme. Love it and even done a couple of races (for charity) but enjoy doing the long cycle rides. You must have some awesome countryside around you? Always loved watching Macaskills rides on youtube. Fill me with fear but mainly awe. Would not have the stomach for that these days!
  24. Jeez, felt sick after watching that!
  25. Good, we shouldn't even be talking unless it's £2m.
