  1. If that's all that came in, I would be very pleased. We have the creativity in the team, it just doesn't need to be shunted about left, right and center. A CM will allow players to play in their position, it is a good squad. Sadly, I think you're all right about the 7 figure, but that said, it depends on what kind of 7 figure. £2m and I'd say over to you Jonny, anything less, go fish. Regardless, I don't want Jonny going.
  2. I read somewhere yesterday that we were looking to extend burns' loan, but he has offers from England so up to the player. According to this guy, Cardiff are coming back with another bid - no idea about the validity of the source: http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/01/11/gb-cardiff-to-make-new-jonny-hayes-offer/?utm_medium=share%2Bbutton&utm_campaign=social%2Bmedia&utm_content=/en-gb/2017/01/11/gb-cardiff-to-make-new-jonny-hayes-offer/ Personally, o'halloran is a cunt and not worthy of lacing Hayes' boots.
  3. Entertaining game, how Southampton didn't score more is beyond me. Really should have ended 3 or 4-0. I'd imagine the scourers will turn it around at home.
  4. Same as you obviously
  5. Can see Strachan too, on the next pier along, second block from bottom
  6. Saints one up at the bin dippers. What's with the applause, was the Southampton fan terminally ill or something?
  7. As sad as it is true couldnt have put it better Bobby. The games a sham.
  8. Didn't realise the Spaniards were so hot on nicking bikes. Had it happen to me once before in London, more due to my own stupidity and it's a lesson I learned very quickly! Still doesn't take away from the fact it's a shit thing to do! We're you going downhill when you had your crash, Málaga? I never ever got round to trying it on a mountain bike, feel I don't have the balls to do it these days. Get the fear, despite being OK gunning it down a road on a road bike! Can imagine there would be some cracking down hills there. One of my bosses regularly spends 3-4k on a bike, I say regularly but he's done it three times since I've been there (over 7 years). It's easily done, but I don't think it's worth it unless you're doing comps or something thats time dependent. Have a very good spec on my bike, for what I need it to do, but upgrading would only see marginal gains. Doesn't seem worth it. That said, might be different for a mountain bike! You got disk brakes on yours?
  9. Nice one! Will probably take you up on that closer to the time. Any areas in particular you'd recommend for an overnighter?

    Films

Watched our kind of traitor the other day which was adapted from John le carre's book. Was decent enough but occasionally a bit dull and predictable. Wouldn't go out of your way to go see it.
  11. I thought Cardiff were skint, which would explain that derisory offer. They are a club on the down, fuck them.
  12. More changes!
  13. Big into road cycling. Grew up in Holland so have always ridden a bike apart from the time I was at uni (which felt weird). Used to have a mountain bike during my teens then moved onto a Hybrid when I moved to London. Got me into cycling again and upgraded to a Cube road bike via the Cycle to Work scheme. Love it and even done a couple of races (for charity) but enjoy doing the long cycle rides. You must have some awesome countryside around you? Always loved watching Macaskills rides on youtube. Fill me with fear but mainly awe. Would not have the stomach for that these days!
  14. Jeez, felt sick after watching that!
  15. Good, we shouldn't even be talking unless it's £2m.
  16. Well, you should have said. Now you've put fact at the end it's a done deal I see according to the P&J we're linked with Falkirk's Craig Sibbald, naturally the story is full of quotes... https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/1135468/dons-boss-casting-the-net-wide-for-new-players/
  17. I didn't want to brag
  18. Trip looked good Mondo! Not likely to have many trips away this year, although will have a week up north prior to a fellow DonStalkers wedding in June. Would like to do the Highland 500 but I can't see us having enough time in between seeing my family. Been years since i've been up that way.
  19. This is as fair of a statement as i've seen in a while.
  20. Scott Wright has signed a new 2 year deal: http://www.afc.co.uk/news/9022.php#.WHPTJFXc5pg
  21. I'd agree with that. If the club let consi go it would be silly. More bollocks from the press I'd say. And if logan has a 200k release clause despite having proved his worth then shame on us. Don't buy it though
  22. Would have thought so. But I imagine it would be the press probably not thinking (hardly surprising here) and assuming he was one of those with expiring contracts. When they realise this theyll claim he's demanding a move etc...load of shite. It's truly amazing to see the lengths they are going to try and ensure second place. Pathetic.
  23. Absolutely
  24. Cheers, Rocket. Will check it out. Was at a wedding yesterday and this was my tipple of choice for my hip flask: Very tasty and smooth!
  25. Now I'm no fan of them, but they are a proper football club that forms an active part of south London. Games there are fun, decent atmosphere (especially the away end) and I would see it as an absolute tragedy if what is proposed succeeds. I'm amazed that it has got as far as this. The whole thing is so shady it's unreal. As usual, money talks https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/jan/05/millwall-admit-council-scheme-leave-lewisham
