  1. Got to be the end of the line for him. Plymouth would be daft to stick by him.
  2. It wasn't, I think someone asked the club on twitter and they said that they'd amend the application if it was necessary (i.e. see how the giro dome works out).
  3. According to a killie mate, was highly thought of but he didn't think he made a first team appearance for them before going to Everton. Also said he liked to playing the middle of the park but hasn't replied as to whether thats defensive or creative. If it's the latter we don't really need that imo. Need to replace Jonny like for like or the bruiser we've been crying out for.
  4. Tianjin Quanjian's billionaire owner on Benzema, Costa and Cavani... My heart bleeds for you.
  5. Back in action this Saturday, feels like an absolute age since the Hearts game. Hopefully the game in Dubai got them going again and we don't lose anyone in the mean time. Stranraer have just parted company with their manager. We really should be putting them to bed as they are bottom of League 1 but cup ties are never straight forward. Would happily see the same line up as the league, although I do wonder if he'll give Alexander a shot in goal.
  6. Don't disagree with any of that Rico. Good post That said though, as a product, we haven't been an attractive investment for the past 15-20 years so I'm not sure we'd have raised the capital or the the banks agreement to do anything substantial to Pittodrie over that time. Sure, bits an pieces could and have been done over that period but we are where we are. I don't know enough about the region to be able to dispute about the location, transport will need to be agreed but I'm sure that will follow. It ticks the boxes in terms of providing all our facilities in one spot, I'm happy enough with that.
  7. Was hoping to hear a bit more about that too, not as good as some of the other podcasts they've done but enjoyed it nevertheless. A bit more of the juicy details would have been good.
  8. Top 4 would be a serious ask if that was the case imo selling either in January shouldn't even be entertained.
  9. Tom is right though. Rightly or wrongly ( very much the latter but that's by the by now) Pittodrie has been neglected for yonks. We missed the opportunity years ago with the land behind the south stand to do something. As much as I love Pittodrie, it is old and tired. It's time.
  10. A mate of mine directed that but I thought it was pretty woeful. But you're right, should highlight what cunts he has in hos pocket. Establishment, just a different kind. It's like voting between which of the arse cheeks to support in Glasgow. The American accent pretending to be trump was particularly bad. The BBC programme on putin and trump was better imo
  11. Trump: This is the finger I stuck up my daughters bum Gone: he he he
  12. Hmm. Either it's still in my drafts or you didn't read it, I'll go with the latter
  13. I still feel the same as I did when I first saw it, a bit meh. However, the bigger picture is that we need a new stadium and this needs to happen. Whilst I hate the roof, it looks shit and no one can convince me otherwise, hopefully we'll have the fans to fill it and i'm very pleased to see the bar. Should be a good revenue stream for the club. As I said to ED earlier today, I hope they have intentions of installing one of those winter bubbles over the training pitches during winter, otherwise it's pointless having these facilities. It's a step in the right direction, now time to kick the naysayers in the puss and into touch.

    Films

Heard good things about Silence, well, maybe that's not the right word but certainly a film i'd like to see. The quality of film coming out at this time of year is always great
  15. Absolutely. That said, I'd hope that the signings we were/ are going to make have already had the wheels put in motion (i'm sure that's the case) and they get wrapped up quickly. None of this deadline day pish.
  16. I'm hoping it's a sign that we have some certainty over some players. Burns, I have no concerns about and from what I've read on BCFC forums, it's what they expected to happen (i.e. flashes of brilliance but all too often does nothing). Hopefully the club get back from Dubai and there's a few signings announced...

    Brewdog...

I don't mind their beers, does sound like they've acted like cunts though. Guess you have to be to be successful in business.
  18. I'd say it sounds like you're probably right. It doesn't make for pleasant reading. If we have to sell, I'd hope he has the decency to stay until the summer, or our season will take a massive hit.
  19. I've missed last weeks so need to watch that before tonights finale! Can't think they'll do another series?
  20. Whats funnier is that a hun fell 20ft and hit concrete after attempting a handstand. What a fud.
  21. Citeh get pumped 4-0 at Everton! I've not seen much of them but is bravo really any better than Hart? Seems like they concede a lot more these days.
  22. One of the sports channels I don't have, typical! I saw the medical buggy ran into an injured player during one of the games
  23. Thank God I've been sorting out a move for most of it. I see we're 2-1 up, Hayes and Shinnie with the goals. Quite a few changes made too which is good.
  24. I see antoniazzi is named on the bench for today's friendly. He used to be on our books before joining the tims for a while. Have no idea about this mob we're playing a fiends against. Think it's already kicks off? Can't wait for this break to be over. Dull as sin!
  25. Watched "inside chernobyls mega tomb" on BBC 4 this evening. Fantastic bit of engineering, not sure why it didn't get more of the positive press it deserved. Well worth a watch.
