    Films

Saw La la land last night, quite enjoyed it. I think I can understand the hype, not like many other films you see being made these days. Hopefully seeing T2 in the next couple of weeks.
  2. There's always been a player in there, he's shown it on multiple occasions. A lot of our players seem to be confidence players. He should never be playing alongside someone like McLean, who is incredibly talented but should be playing further forward anyway. He hasn't got the balls to do what Shinnie appears to be doing. Maybe it has been a case of Jack overthinking things, own accord or not, but as I've said in another thread, I think we'll miss him more than we know (edit: if we don't adequately replace him). He does my head in sometimes, but when he's on his game, he's one of the best in the country.

Seems like you got the final you were hoping for ID. Havent watched it yet, decided not to bother for the first time in years, probably because of the inevitability of it. Have it recorded though and it sounds a watch.
  4. Suppose if we're shite against county, you've got something to throw.
  5. Decent header from stockley and lovely play for the second. It's on the DT fezbook page if anyone wants them, on my phone so can't copy the link across onto here Edit:
  6. What a title! May be a little gem for the other lettuce leaves though
  7. What happened? Last I saw was the Dhims were 2-1 down and it ended 5-2

    6 nations

What a fucking game. Finally beat the tinkers!
  9. Hearts win 3-0 at Motherwell, when is it we're due to play our rearranged game?
  10. Same team as midweek
  11. Pingu has diversified - with climate change, the lands are ripe for grape growing Had a few nips of Bruichladdich last night, not usually a fan of islays but I quite like it. Pretty smooth.
  12. Outstanding

    6 nations

As I said, I have quiet optimism, but the front row is quite lightweight compared to theirs. For some reason the Guardian have Wales coming second, fuck knows how the hell they came to that conclusion. This is the worst taffs side in yonks, they were awful during the autumn test series.

Funny thing is, progress is definitely being made and if we're anywhere near the wooden spoon, we've failed. Cotter is an excellent coach and i'll be very sad to see him go, despite the next being Gregor Townsend who's doing fantastic things down Scotstoun.
  15. At least the rugby team play with heart and passion and actually picked on their form unlike the farce that is the so called football team. I'm no way a rugger bugger, loathe them like any other, but as a sport, I really enjoy watching it.

Coming up to my favourite time of year, given that the football governing bodies have fucked up the big tournaments. 6 nations is the best hands down. I'd say given the English have to be favourites for this with the Irish a very close second. We've got a very good chance of winning 3/5 games and quietly fancy us against the Irish tomorrow. Nel aside, we've got a strong line up and a lot of guys on very good form at the moment. Our form against them is horrific but I think it'll a close call. Anyone else keen?
  17. After the disappointment of Wednesday night, I'd think the team will pick themselves up and hit Partick hard. They're a bit indifferent at the moment but seem to be playing well. Not an easy one but I expect us to come out on top. Out Pub Pub watching the Scotland game Dinner with some mates 2-1 dons, McGinn and McLean
  18. In fairness, I never said they weren't trying Just appear to have failed in closing one or two deals out which I accept happens, but we really could have done with closing them out in this window.
  19. Ha, I should have stuck with what I was originally going to write, which was two years, and despite McLean signing during that period it would have covered my back I completely agree about the bit in bold though and fully appreciate that Jan is the worst window to try and do business in, however, given the circumstances it would have been good to see something come off.
  20. Bar Shinnie, which was a Jan pre contract from memory, I can't think of any? I don't disagree with the last sentence, but given how close things are, you'd have thought that it was worth pushing the boat out and identifying the deficiencies that have been plain as day for a couple of seasons? We cannot, under any circumstances, anywhere other than second. Targets will have be known for some time and should have been closed out.
  21. They didn't have many chances (on target), despite Lewis being very busy and alert. Deserved nothing from that game. Find it hard to disagree with you LA, we don't know what goes on behind the scenes but mcinnes is always shite in the January transfer window, incredibly infuriating
  22. Think that's what has frustrated me most about this season. Everyone knows they're shite but most of Scottish football wants to get back to the status quo. Good on hearts, the Huns are shite and everyone should be taking it to them. Anyone see the twitter video of some fat hun crying no surrender last night
  23. Outplayed, cant say they didn't deserve it
  24. Sounds like it's just as well I'm having Internet issues! What is it with bt broadband and macs?
  25. hadn't realised he'd had the bum hair treatment! Really hope there's a song about it tonight
