Well if it's just us against some guy called Patrick, I'd fancy our chances at a cricket score Out House Bbq at said house Probably more dave_min free bbq action 2-2 - may and Shinnie. Storey will score. Especially given our defensive issues at the mo.

Spot on Rico, I'd happily accept a 17/18k stadium, but I'm sure Tom workings will show that this figure isn't achievable. From memory they were pretty decent efforts, certainly explored different options.
-
I'm not going to even bother answering this, because it's a waste of time.

Again, what is your point, how does this relate to Pittodrie? Are you implying the south stand and riverside are similar? They are not.the main stand? You'll see they haven't touched that for the reasons outlined in my previous post. Merkie? We can't build higher than we already are and the spacing between seats increases because of modern standards. Instantly decreasing the number of seats as it is. Hammersmith and putney ends have no habitable accommodation behind them. Hence why I mentioned the parks. Although, having said that the Hammersmith end has been developed up to its boundary, from memory the stand isn't much higher, if at all, than the trees in the park. I forgot to address your point about the riverside, this stand, had the concourse to the rear of it. The new stand will extend beyond, in terms of access over the water but by doing so, they've allowed public access through the site. My hunch is the stand itself is still on their land but have been able to provide further access with agreement with the council to ensure public access through, which wasn't previously possible.

Craven cottage. A ground I know well. Right, the riverside stand that has been given permission for expansion sits over the river. They also don't sit in any of the London view corridors (neither do we of course) but their main stand must remain as is. This is because it is a) flanked by a road and b) there are houses on the other side of it. Not sure how this is a relevant precedent. Youve just backed up my argument. Putney end and Hammersmith ends are both temporary but have parkland behind. You'll be sad to know the mj statue is no more.

4-2 now, daresay that's them through
-
Post pictures of them and we'll go through them.
-
As both Tom and I have said countless of times...there are flats, roads etc which dictate all of this. There really isn't that much additional space behind the south stand. There are independently owned properties all around the site which prevent this from being more than we require.
-
Is this in relation to anything in particular seebass or just the on going probe into the stadium comments?
-
I don't disagree with that, it's an absolute sham that we haven't had proper training facilities in place by now. I'm not sure whether that's to penny pinching or what, or no willing investors but it's a disgrace. If there was one thing i'd hold against Milne, it would be this. Endless five year plans with no delivery. Maybe it's all tied back to the documentary I posted in the hun thread the other week. Maybe we couldn't get the loans from the bank? I'm not sure.
-
We did used to, but they always tended to be on the wind up rather than anything else
-
Transport is critical, they have a plan but I'd like to see how it'll work. I'm far from 100% but I'm not against it either. I've been vocal in my derision of some of the counter arguments put forward by the nimbys because they need to be called out. 100NKS does make some valid points occasionally but much like the other side, a lot of it is hyperbole. Everyone is at it. We need facilities, that's why I'm for it. It's embarrassing and will hold us back once DM et al leave. Cant afford aberdonian nimbysism to get in the way.
-
Very much this. I was more surprised there weren't any huns.
-
The relevance to my post? I'm not sold on shuttle buses and would like to understand how they'll achieve this. 100NKS - refer to previous pages in this thread which outline how this is approximately the level that is achievable. So yes, really. Of course we're not always going to be "successful" but why limit us in the first place? It's not like we can buy land adjacent to the stadium to expand further.
-
I think this is what annoys me most about this debate. They've never said it couldn't, it just can't to the levels we require. Going for a smaller stadium when we're trying to boost our profile and viability is suicide. Especially when you take into account the areas of the ground that would need to be closed for those periods. Lunacy. Absolute lunacy. Maybe 15 years ago when we were utter horseshoe it would have made sense, but not a chance today. It's not just about seats either, it's about facilities and accommodation for the club. Things which Pittodrie doesn't have space for alongside an 18-20k stadium.

Ooft, just saw Hamiltons third goal. That was a thing of beauty

I think this must be the first season that DM has a viable option B. Whether he chooses to use it correctly remains to be seen, but the options are there to completely change the way the team can play. I'd like to see us keep Rooney but as you say, it does make the Maynard signing all the more perplexing and can't see us playing two up front unless he punts Rooney on the wing, which we know, doesn't work. Is Stockley really a fans favourite?!? I can't see anything in his style of play or ability that makes me think he adds anything positively. I know he scored a peach against Partick last season, but he misses a hell of a lot of chances, if he's even there in the first place!
-
Haha thanks Elgin Watched the extended highlights on redtv in the end, thought Stewart looked decent when he came on. Peach of a header and excellent second goal from May. Match looked awful and like you had all four seasons in one game. Stands looked pretty busy but never saw the top deck. Defence looked a complete mess, won't be long until we get punished because of it.
-
Given this was on alba, is it up online already?
-
Woohoo, finally a striker scores. Strikers: May 4 Rooney 5 Storey 1 Midfielders: Christie 5 Mclean 4 Mackay-Steven 4 Ross 1 Stewart 1 Shinnie 2 Wright 1 Defenders: Arnason 1 Considine 1 Logan 1 O'Connor 1 Reynolds 1 McKenna 1 Own Goals: 1

How're ticket sales for this looking? It'd be great to see another 14k plus attendance. Have a gut feeling may is gonna get his first goal today, I know it's already in my prediction, but I was mightily impressed by him last week. Sure a clear week would have helped the team no end.

Common sense, it's something that so many people, young and old, don't have anymore and it does my head in. Putting others first, lots of people, in London particularly, are selfish fucksake and won't do the decent thing. Eating with your mouth open, you do that and I want to punch you in the face and throw you under the nearest object. Its irrational but I know I'm not alone. Fucking close your mouth you moronic twat. I dont care what is sustaining you, and I sure as hell don't want to hear about it.

Was buc not of that era too? Anyway, can't say I know much about him, way before my time!
