  1. True, but this is guaranteeing it and preventing him from speaking to anyone else. Fuck knows what his agent has been telling them in terms of interested parties. It could be that he's done exactly as you've said. I'd like to think so anyway.
  2. Surely it’s just a case they want to secure his signature, hence the fee up front. Nothing more, nothing less?
  3. Absolutely. It was fun to noise up the Huns, but realistically we’d just lost two games to then because of the whole charade. dm has cemented us as the second best but the trophy return has been diabolical, don’t think a change would have been bad for us. Neither of those two, even docherty really impress me. But I’m not sure if many players in the other teams (affordable) really do. I’d actually happily see AOC leave and arnie stay. The biggest impact arnie has had has been coaching McKenna. Losing him and allowing bombscares like aoc and Reynolds to stay would be lunacy. It may cost us a bit in the short term (money wise) but the long term benefits is we could have a very conpetent centre back in McKenna.
  4. No doubting it Kow, classic player and completely unplayable at times. Anyone see this from the weekend?
  5. Nielsen punted by the English franchise fc. Not surprising in the slightest.
  6. Especially since the weather looked decent, thought it might attract a few more. But not exactly a shocking figure considering the time.
  7. Good to hear seebass, hope the results are what you hope for
  8. Strikers: May 5 Rooney 11 Storey 1 Midfielders: Christie 8 Mackay-Steven 8 McGinn 2 Mclean 9 Ross 1 Stewart 3 Shinnie 4 Wright 1 Defenders: Arnason 2 Considine 3 Logan 1 McKenna 2 O'Connor 1 Reynolds 1 Own Goals: 1
  9. What a goal from GMS! Practically swam away from the opposition there. Great result to wake up to, was confident of the win but it’s a cup tie so expected a few squeaky bum moments. What was the attendance today? Given that it looked like a decent day in Aberdeen it’s a shame it wasn’t bigger. But time and tv always put a dent into that. Sounds like everyone had a good day of it anyway Onto the next!
  10. Have to say, and without trying to sound like those paranoid ones, I tend to agree with your thoughts on this. Wouldn’t be an issue for certain other clubs. When do we play them next?
  11. Disappointing if true. i was hoping we'd pip them to him just because we could
  12. Has he been officially unveiled yet? Or have I missed it???
  13. Haha was just putting the cat amongst the pigeons. It’s not an option, but it’s hard to see where the land would become available. Gas leak in the apartments behind the south stand anyone?...
  14. Absolutely, but it’s too good a deal to pass up and certainly enough for us to get a suitable replacement. Superb if this comes off. I suppose it does open up for the Huns to try and get him on loan
  15. Buddies are unbeaten since early December so should be in decent form. Sadly I doubt they'll be playing clangers so no "home-coming" for him. Early kick off and on tv so could hamper the crowd if the weather is truly shite. I'm assuming McGinn will be making his return debut in this fixture. Other than him, I wouldn't change too much from the last fixture pre-winter break. Out Dog sitting Bed Bed 2-0 Dons, Mcginn and Shinnie
  16. He has a point. The amount of shite that Aberdeen cc passes and the one thing that could be of benefit (ignoring the flaws) is going to get chucked. It’s pathetic and representative of the mindset. Shame. But Rico makes a good point and it is probably our only other viable option. Sit tight, hope that the kings links site becomes available and try again....
  17. I remember this, good wee charity. Good luck with it all
  18. If those clubs accept anything those pricks offer they deserve all they get.
  19. excellent idea
  20. They’re one of the main contractors for the AWPR, that stalls, then the council will delay any construction work as the transport plan will be out the window until resolved.
  21. Whilst indirectly related, this could have serious consequences on the stadium as Carillion have now gone into liquidation. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/business/north-of-scotland/1391924/ministers-urged-to-find-plan-b-over-constructor-collapse-concerns/
  22. BBC gossip claiming we've rejected a second bid from Ull. I daresay, given they offered a pathetic £300k, initially, it wouldn't be near what we'd want.
  23. Don't think anyone would begrudge him the opportunity in a few years time providing he's signed a decent deal with the club and continues the progress he's shown this season. I certainly wouldn't anyway. The only thing good about Hull, is the bridge out of there. Neanderthal knuckle draggers. How long is he signed up until out of interest?
  24. I like what you did there Fuck me it’s quiet, this is almost as boring as an international break! When are the team due back? Playing lokomotiv Tashkent this weekend I believe.
