If this was in isolation, I'd agree, but the teams we've faced (and gone out to) were all beatable on paper, but we made life difficult for ourselves. They even beat Maribor. Certainly an opinion I share. We waited yonks for a proper left back, signed one, and play him in midfield. Ludicrous. I'd sooner sign a proper central midfielder before a left back. I love his passion and drive, but he's rash, hence his card count last season. Keep him at left back please!

Not talking about teams outside of the top 5. It doesn't work. Even my hibby mate said we'd defend as soon as we went 1 up. It's obvious and invites attack which we eventually buckle at. We're not savvy enough. Don't think we even got into that position often last season mind.

Having watched it back now, we were lucky to get a point. Not saying we're not capable of getting more, this team definitely is but on the face of it Im happy with the draw. Their man horgan looks like a find. Their goal was very well worked, decent finish by the convict bastard. Just don't know why dm continues to pursue this game management tactic. It doesn't work. Possibly unlucky not to get a penalty in the first half but it was a risky challenge for the hibbie to make. Ferguson just continues to impress. GMS incident, no way was that a red card, didn't even make a head butt motion. The challenge itself was a potential ankle breaker so gms had every right to be livid.

Best way to play hibs is to run at them. Our defence is better than theirs but we don't want to invite them on. Watched the game back. Really enjoyable stuff with some really good football being played. We should have been 6 up by half time but that's really being fussy. A few lapses in concentration which I don't think would have happened were we not 3-0 up at the time. Good to see all the youngsters taking their opportunity. Ross being the quieter of them but he didn't do anything wrong. The hunger is there for all to see. Be interesting to see how many start to feature a bit more regularly. Theyre not making dms job easy
