  1. Couldn’t care less if any of them came out. As long they give their all for the dons , that’s all that matters. Can’t say I quite agree with your POV bearsden. PC may have gone too far in some aspects of life but I wouldn’t say straight people are vilified.

    Racism?

Nah, this sounds like straight up racism to me. Quite clearly thought they couldn’t have afforded a first class ticket and trying it on. The fact that someone else noticed it just proves it clearly was.
  3. Was live on redtv. So I imagine highlights, if that’s the right term, should be up soon enough.
  4. Whilst I get where Jute is coming from, and he’s certainly not one for the future, he’s a winner. An actual winner. It’s something that can rub off onto others and I actually think despite his orangeness , he’d be worth having. He’d also give us a genuine threat against the Glasgow cheeks. Genuinely stumped as to why folk would be against this.
  5. To this day, the second most orange person I’ve met. First obviously being Calderwood. Wouldn’t have any issues with him signing, old he may be but he’s a professional
  6. I thought it was only one who thought it was pish, but a graveyard what is this guy smoking? By and large it sounds like there's a player, hopefully we utilise him correctly and manage to get him to recapture his form. When did Evans take over? Hopefully that coincided with his drop in form more than anything else.
  7. Or, you could just pick us better seats
  8. The walk up and standing on the Y for a summer game . Last game I was there was the Apollon game, in the away end of the south. That was well and truly shite.
  9. Sounds like a great signing, welcome aboard the good ship !
  10. I thought so, Just liked the idea of it . Would set the cat amongst the pigeons
  11. The way I understood it, and correct me if I’m wrong B.B was that those who’ve played previously but choose to sit out on friendlies should lose a cap per game they miss. Then they shouldn’t also automatically get picked and go straight into the first team for the proper games. Hence why shinnie shouldn’t get dropped because others are suddenly “available” after choosing not to be previously.
  12. Great to hear McKenna captaining the team. Good on him. How did he and shinnie play? Presume shinnie won’t play left back very often for obvious reason.
  13. Didn’t they time the away kit with the first euro game last season, or am I imagining that?
  14. Anyone bought this yet? Looks smart. Thinking of getting one ordered for when i'm over at Christmas in time for the Kiwi summer
  15. The goal any fan would love to score. No skill really required, but sheer determination. Obviously not reflective of his true abilities but great nonetheless. Wish I could have seen him play in the flesh. Interesting read CvB and Rocket. good posts
  16. Heard so many great stories about him, it's really nice seeing wee videos of his talks. By all accounts a really likable guy, wish i'd had the chance to meet him. RIP. Some fans have set up a petition to get the club to arrange a pre-season friendly in memory of him: https://www.change.org/p/aberdeen-football-club-pre-season-friendly-in-memory-of-neale-cooper?recruiter=687706697&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=psf_combo_share_initial&utm_term=psf_combo_share_initial
  17. It’s also a friendly, probably cheap as chips. At least it’s being shown, I’d hardly bother. Peru is a lively place, if it’s anything like the World Cup qualifiers, I doubt any of those players will experience anything like it. It was madness.
  18. Nice to see some Liverpool fans showing their class...sending death threats on a keeper because he fucked up (big time). Cracker of a goal from Bale. Not sure what the Liverpool keeper was thinking. Of the two horrible teams, the lesser one won. All good . Good to see our ownership of Real continues
  19. Rico, I was referring more to his preference. He’s really not that good (despite 5 performances post split), not sure he’s in a position to prefer one over the other. He’s completely after the money, possibly realising how much he can make despite turning out average performances. League one is definitely his level.
  20. The funniest bit of that article is where he states he’s open to English league one but would prefer the championship
  21. Have yet to see anything of note from May so i'm very much out on his positive contributions. Games i've seen the game seems to pass him by But as I said, the service was awful last season so a bit of service and then i'll judge him. Seems unfair to do so just yet.
  22. That’s why I think the midfield is the most important aspect of the rebuild. We need to find players that will get the best out of what we have. Then get a couple of defenders in to give us a bit of cover. Only then would I look at the top. No denying that missing out on moult cost us Europe, we’ve done that to death and we all agree on that point. We didn’t really have a strike force then. Ideally we’d have strikers that are going to perform in all games, but I don’t think we can afford to give rooney up unless we’ve got a proven replacement. The goal stats need to be improved but our service was diabolical this season.
  23. Hmm, I'd hope we're actually putting our resources into midfield and then defence. We have the strikers that with the right type of service, can thrive. It's just getting that service. Shame Scott Wright never went out on loan in Jan. Oh well.
  24. Quite a shrewd appointment imo. I always liked him at city.
