  1. Have to say, I was thoroughly disappointed that the man city fans didn’t end the game yesterday by singing “Saudi Arabia is ours”. Weird, given it was the terrorists derby.
  2. A joy to watch and wouldn’t be out of place in many men’s teams imo. aussie looked spent last night and were lucky to lose by only the two in all fairness. Tonight’s match should be a cracker I reckon.

    Films

Have to say, I fucking loved that film. We hired out the screen so was like watching with a bunch of mates. Think the blokes possibly laughed harder than the women, although most of the women had seen it at least once. Very well cast and great references to other films.
  4. First of our European games this season and not sure the team are quite ready for it. We've played Hacken before under Glass and won, but I think it's widely agreed that we caught them cold that time around. Current Swedish champions and beat Vilnius 8-1 on aggregate, so they'll be no pushovers. Regardless, i'm jealous of all those going, miss those euro games being this side of the world now. Will still be too early for McGarry, but it was quite clear our left side is our weakest side so somehow, we'll probably have to keep it tight to try and make a proper go of it at Pittodrie. Not sure how we do that just yet, but try we must. We've got a few players that are not playing in their ideal position and we're clearly also lacking a few others. Will we see Scales? I'd hope we see the same intensity we saw against the tims, and then we might have a chance. Out Bed Hopefully manage to avoid too many meetings first thing, but travelling / work Work 2-1 Hacken, Clarkson
  5. Only caught the second half, but up until we scored the second, we looked comfortable. We make a couple of subs and then we’re all at sea and they pull one back. Our left is shite, so hopefully McGarry helps resolve a bit of that. Sokler really should have scored what was essentially an open goal, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt that the ball was at an awkward height. Duk didn’t do much, but our midfield was powder puff. Excellent strike by Clarkson though, some power behind it. We’re through to the next round which is the most important thing, but christ, Häcken will not be fearing us in the slightest. we’ve so much still to do transfer wise, but I suspect it’ll be too much to do.
  6. Gutted, that’s a huge shame.
  7. Shame, probably would have been the perfect time to test him, but that does make sense. Last thing we'd need is for him to pick up a knock by being thrown in too quickly.
  8. I think we'd all be surprised if he was still with us next season, but definitely don't want to lose him this. If we're giving Polvara minutes this season, we really need to tie him down.
  9. Would have been worse for me if aus had made the final. So thank you for your sacrifice
  10. Good to see Rhys Williams lining up for the development team tonight.
  11. Allocation for the game now sold out
  12. I really want it to work out for him. Seems to have his head screwed on. Don’t think we can rely on him completely as he’s still young, but happy to see him get a decent chunk of minutes over the season. Started well so far.
  13. In sadder news, I see shankland is being linked with the Saudi league. Hearts will be quids in.
  14. Was going to start a new thread in all honesty, but actually quite like the simplicity of it, so quite happy to keep this one unless there's a desire for it's own separate thread?
  15. Forward: Duk - 7 Miovski - 26 Sokler - 3 Boyd - 1 midfield: Clarkson - 4 McGrath - 11 Polvara - 3 Shinnie - 2 Defence: Devlin - 4 Gartenmann - 3 Hayes - 1 Mackenzie - 1 MacDonald - 2 Goalkeeper: O.G.
  16. Been quite amusing seeing the number of mentions poor Burrows gets on Twitter. Fair fucks to the guy for responding to as many as he does! Am I a bit concerned with what’s left, yes, but sure as hell don’t think the club aren’t aware of it
  17. Not that it changes things really, but huns win so Tims will want to keep tack.
  18. Hard to be positive for this one. Only thing we have is it’s at home. I assume it’s safe to say besuijen is done at the club? Had hoped Robson coming back would be a good sign and opportunity for him to find some form. We need something creative and losing both Ramadani and McCrorie in the same window has been a massive blow to the spine of the team. Hopefully the management don’t persist on the hoof ball tactic, Celtic will just sweep it up. had hoped we’d see a signing or two before this game but I guess it’s going to happen at the end of the month. May get scales post Celtic game but we need someone to work as a foil for shinnie to enable Clarkson to play. is McDonald back for this one? Will be too soon for McGarry if he has arrived but assume they’re still over in Oz. out bed work work 4-0, no dons scorer.
  19. you're right, they probably aren't far off, but I feel like the conference may have some more winnable games rather than just getting pumped 6 times or however many it is.
  20. Definitely feels like the conference league is the way to go. Not that there aren't some potentially hellish trips there, there are many more better ones though.
  21. Tim mate thinks it's bollocks as they've a bid in for a swedish defender. So I'd say it's very much that. Wouldn't mind O'Hara or Baccus. Though he is a dirty Siddneeeeeyy bastard
  22. Couldn’t make it up, thank you hibs
  23. Suppose I more meant the level of competence we saw from him with McDonald and pollock rather than Stewart et al.
  24. Went to the Japan Norway round of 16 game last night. Was superb. Excellent atmosphere, pretty much a Japan home match it seemed with the amount of backing they had. Japan are so confident playing out the back when you’d think they’d lose it, rarely did. Shame wellingtons last game is at a stupid time of day. Presumably for the yanks to not watch their team since they failed to top their group the quality was very good last night. Japan thoroughly deserved it, but Norway still looked dangerous when they got close to goal.
