  1. Exactly. Must try harder.
  2. Mong. Oh, and... http://www.donstalk.co.uk/messageboard/chat/
  3. That's a lot of people with no team to support once your beloved Hearts go bankrupt.
  4. Probably Mulgrew for me. He's been murder in loads of games but I dread to think where we'd have been without his goals. Agree that talk of Keane is a joke. Stokes, Goodwillie and Whittaker are all more deserving. No doubt it will be Boydy or Bougherra though.

I agree Kow, can't imagine we'll be bottom becuase it would take a freakish set of results for all the teams below us to gain enough points to overtake us. However the very fact we're even talking about the threat of relegation is painfully depressing.
  6. I think Grassi is desperate to do well for Aberdeen, I really do. He was one of the ones who looked like he did give a fuck yesterday. He's just not a good enough player. I can see what Mcghee means, this group of players are very unpredictable and inconsistent. Captain Mark Kerr leads by example by battling like a mad-man, then gives the ball away with a straightforward 10 yard pass. You could say the same about Foster. I'll make no excuses for Duff and Young, I'm a better player than them. Mulgrew and Aluko continue with their quest to be our top under-achievers. Even Diamond hasn't become the player I hoped he would be. Paton and Fyvie have all the potential but they need good pro's around them. And Mcghee should have a look at his own performance. Every time the camera focused on the technical areas JC was going nuts, kicking every ball and urging his team on. The only one on our bench who looked like he cared was Scott Leitch. Injuries and suspensions mean nothing in games like that. Killie were more fired up and determined to get the result, and I've got no doubt that they got that motivation from a manager who was desperate to beat his old club.
  7. And that's your opinion, I understand what you're saying but I don't agree with your last 2 posts. In my opinion sacking Jimmy was wrong. And in my opinion sacking Mark McGhee will be wrong. Final word on the matter.
  8. Outrageous if true. Mark McGhee must get another season, and he must be allowed to bring in at least 4 players of similar quality to Severin/Smith/Nicholson/Anderson. That means loosening the purse strings a bit and showing some ambition. New season, couple of decent signings, hopefully some renewed optimism amongst the support. We need to arrest this slump ASAP. Otherwise it's a depressing downward spiral which could change the club forever.
  9. If only all the retards had thought of that 12 months ago.
  10. The number of greeners wiped off McGhee's jacket after the Raith game?
  11. I'm yet to see or hear any concrete evidence that the spitting incident really happened. And Strachan is right, to the players it's just a job for a few years. To us the supporters, it's a lifetime of dedication. The Sun can fuck off.
  12. The fans will come back, as soon as the team go on a decent run of form. Come the new season, a few new faces, and hopefully a couple of good results to start with, the fans will come back. Most fans have accepted this season is a write off, and as a result they're now voting with their feet. Lack of new faces in the summer and a few bad results at the start of the new campaign and we could be in serious trouble.

    God rest his sole.
  15. I wonder if Sir Alex is using the 'Jerel Ifil Blueprint' to sort out his defence for next season.
  16. Exactly, two transfer windows thus far and we've signed Ifil, Grassi, Marshall, and 2 loan players. And I'd suggest it's going to be even harder to attract players in the Summer given the state the club's in just now.
  17. Wouldn't we be better trying Mcdonald up front? At least he has an eye for the goal, and at the moment he's totally ineffective in his normal position.
  18. Did Jimmy forget to take his tactical tombola to Rubgay park? Tabloids will be going to town on us tomorrow when they steal that article. Laughing stock? Us? Sometimes you wonder why managers like McGhee (and JC before him) ever open there mouths to the press.
  19. He did, Carew on for Cueller for last 10 minutes or so.
  20. I'm sure the worst challenge I've seen this season was carried out by Wiliam Gallas, but I cant remember who it was against.
  21. Watching it again there, I'm not sure there was any malice in the challenge. Ramsay was moving so fast, just looked like an accident to me. Also, Sol Campbell is a dick.
  22. Looks like a bad break but hopefully not as bad as Eduardo, seemed to be further up the leg? Feel for the Stoke player too, he looked gutted and must feel terrible now.
  23. I'm not saying they should sack him, but I am suggesting he's not very good at his job. Over time I dare say he'll get a squad of like-minded people together at the club and results will improve. However, bringing him to afc has set us back a few seasons in my opinion.
