  1. I would much rather have Danny Rodgers as our back up over Langfield. In all honesty I'd be surprised if another club in the SPL took him.
  2. Don't understand why folk can't just like what they like without having to face ridicule for it. I should give yous all such a slagging for liking all that shite but it's nae my style.
  3. Real shame that we're going to be forced into making changes to a team that's been performing well. I suppose we've been lucky with injuries this season so far so that had to come to an end. (what with only Russell being out) So what should we do? Shift Hayes to right-back? I'd prefer to keep him in midfield where he's a lot more effective (although we do now have flood back). Will Joe come in? I think I'd go with: Brown Logan Considine Reynolds Shaughnessy Hayes Jack Pawlett Rooney Goodwillie McGinn
  4. Heard from a certain Soutar, Derek that a certain Langfield, Jamie was on his way out. I'm hoping to find out a bit more before I get my hopes up.
  5. Good news.
  6. £2m for a player who's got less than 6 months to run on his contract? Accies would've taken £500k surely? Mental.
  7. What the fuck is "stoozing" by the way?
  8. Aye we collected ours before the Dundee game. £6 for postage I heard? Mental.
  9. Tremendous game last night between Liverpool and Chelsea. Played at 100 mph the whole night. Typical Mourinho effective but dull performance from Chelsea who will be favourites now. Although I think they think they're home and hosed already.
  10. Coldplay is the best live act I've ever seen. And I've seen a lot. Didn't go into that first Coldplay gig with them as one of my favourites but they have been one of them ever since. Get it up yez all.
  11. Nae sure how "Glamorous" that is but I hope he gets a good crowd. I think I'm back from Holiday then so I will try and get myself along.
  12. Oot Holburn Holburn Home 0-2 Jack Nevermind yer ice excuses Tom! I went for a run along the beach last night and some parts were like an ice rink and I'm still alive. (Although admittedly it's not really safe.)
  13. I assumed he was employed because he was cheap. And for no other reason.
  14. This was what I thought as well. Anyway. The players at full time seemed to show appreciated for our support. Logan certainly did as he always does. Really good attendance for a non Timothy game I suppose. Just proves what we've been saying for years when we were playing shite and folk were moaning about low attendances. Put a team together worth watching and folk will come back. When's armageddon due to start?
  15. Harkins got so fucking flukey with his goal! Watching the highlights there even after we went 3-1 down we could have won the game 6-3. :hammer: Still, though, I'm not declaring it the end of the world that we dropped 2 points. This will do us the world of good mentally. I heard Radio Scotland make a big deal out of our fans booing at half time. This annoyed me because I didn't hear (or notice) any booing so it must've surely been localised to a couple of mongs? Did anyone else hear booing? What was the official attendance? Probbaly 14-15k according to Stewarty!
  16. The amount of minutes the club can continue operations for until a further emergency loan is needed?
  17. As much as Scott Brown (Timothy) makes it really easy to dislike him you can't deny that he seems to produce his best for Scotland.
  18. Enough zeros will make a contract look pretty!
  19. Are we actually out of debt no? Surely we're now in a much stronger position to rebuff silly offers that might come our way for players like Jack. Wouldn't be surprised if Celtic tried bidding £250k or something like that. Need to get him signed up.
  20. My first thought when I heard about him wanting to sign was "don't say it, just do it." So I hope this is another contract extension wrapped up double quick with no fuss like the others so far.
  21. Onwards we go to play the last team to beat us or score against us. I don't think they're in amazing form and whilst they undoubtedly have one or two half decent players we are a much better team and I'm hoping for more of the same from us. I am a little wary of them. Not sure why. Probably because, as I said, they are the last team to beat us. I expect DM to have the players warned against complacency and I'm hopeful of another 3 points and hopefully a bonus clean sheet! As we keep saying we're creating so much but finishing very little. Please let Dundee be the team that gets the tanking from us that's apparently due! I'd go with the same 11 again if fitness allows. In Visiting my old man SS Stand Hame 3-0 Considine

Agreed. Went to see it with low expectations. The trailer looked dodgy as fuck. Ended up thoroughly enjoying it. Superb acting and direction.
  23. Agree with this. I know the odd Muslim here and there. I worked with one until recently. I liked the guy (even though he was a Tim) but I found myself thinking "what does he honestly make of all this?" Part of me wonders if all this "Those extremists aren't real Muslims" stuff is all an act. I don't know. I blame folk being thick more than religion tbh be honest. My parents were never religious. Not particularly anyway. Not sure if they believe(d) in God but I was never sheltered from religion (which is almost definitely what I'd do with my own child I think). I was never told that certain religions were better or worse than others. I found/find religion quite fascinating in a way but so infuriating in another. I eventually decided that I didn't believe in any religion and that I was atheist. Because surely to believe all the shite that the various religions pedal you'd have to be a thick cunt or bat shit crazy. This point of view has offended many. That's not my intention. I should be more respectful of people's beliefs because I'm a firm believer in people being able to say, think and believe whatever they want as long as they're not harming anyone. I was surprised to hear a modern day account of a man that moved to a new town but because he was an atheist he was shunned and unwelcome within the community. I'd probably think "bible belt America" but no. It was right here in Scotland. Admittedly the isle of Lewis is almost in America but hearing about something like this happening in this country in this day and age was surprising.
  24. Fit are you on aboot? Austria is in the EU!
