The way I see it it's a decision made by your parents. As far as I'm concerned I never had a choice. My mother took me to a Dons game in the early 90s and that was that. I loved it and from that point on I was a Don. Some kids might try and deviate (to the Old Firm obviously ) so then it would be your responsibility as a parent to beat that phase out of them.

I watched a wee bit of this last night between Game of Thrones episodes. And it boiled my piss. The wee fucking fanny asking Sturgeon if she still wanted independence and when she dared reply "yes" he whined about how the Scottish people had spoken and that we shouldn't have another referendum. Fine. He's entitled to his opinion but what annoyed me was that through all of this Sturgeon was saying that it wouldn't be her that decides that and that it would be up to the people of Scotland. Whether you believe her or not is not the point. The point is the question was asked and answered. Fucking move on. But whilst all this was happening the slimy prick that was moderating the thing was getting his tuppenceworth too. And he was constantly interrupting her answers. They really are terrified of being asked the question again! Not that I believe for a second that it would be a different result if we were. Let's fucking forget about independence for the time being and focus on this general election for the United Kingdom!!!! (Gads)

Does anyone remember that cheeky as fuck "warm up" at East End park? We had Dunfermline in a cup game (Vernon winner in the dying minutes?) and Brown was on the bench. His "warm up" routine was genuinely taking the piss and I saw that day just how bad his attitude actually was. I questioned it to him on Twitter and he responded with a bizarre subject change without even acknowledging the question. I'm not usually one that gives footballers (or anyone else for that matter) the time of day on social media but I really wanted to know what the fuck he was thinking. Still don't know. What's this got to do with racial abuse? Fuck all. The boy was a knob but no one deserve racial abuse. Not even huns. But the way I see if if an incident had taken place when he was up here it would've been dealt with. I assume the person down there who was banned was proven guilty. If the same crime could've been proven when he was up here I'm sure the culprit would've been banned too.

JC Calderwood was one that I was initially a fan of. I wasn't a JIGer by any means but I certainly wasn't a JMGer. When it was announced that he was leaving I was surprised but nae unhappy about it. The man had his flaws in abundance, no doubt, but he also steered us clear of our seemingly annual relegation scrap for the 4 years or so that he was with us. What really turned me off to JC was the whole Ryan O'Leary revelation. For me it shone a spotlight on what many had already suspected of JC. That he was a complete fucking buffoon. I'm glad we got shot of him when we did and it doesn't surprise me at all to see that he's struggling for work in management.

Aye I had that game on when it happened. Couldn't help but laugh. Decent shot for the boy.

News has broken today that the additional segregation fence (that housed the Old Firm when they were up here in the additional away section) is to be removed for the start of next season. Obviously this means that the club don't intend on ever giving Celtic or Sevco any more of an allocation than any other team. I think this is great news. The loud support they have undoubtedly gave them a lift. And it also means my view will no longer be impaired by the monstrosity. Well done AFC football club. :thumbsup:

I think they need 3 years of trading before they can be in Europe? Although if they don't meet the criteria I'm sure we can get them changed to whatever suits Sevco. Although unless they vastly improve and quickly there's no danger of a top 6 trophy for them.

Very very sad news indeed. He became my hero when he stood up for what was right in the Newco saga. I actually didn't realise he was no longer in charge. I was just speaking about him fondly a week or two ago.

We were 2-0 up on that night, aye. Celtic scored just before half time and then equalised just after. Then Budgie popped up with the only highlight of his career for the winner. Later on (can't remember when exactly) we were 2-0 up early on down there again but Celtic came back again and I believe Craig Bellamy scored a peach of a volley to make it 3-2.

I sacrificed this game for my busy social life. Looks like it was a good one to miss. I'm hoping for much better on Wednesday night.
