Not TV but this was all on TV at some point. After randomly listening to a Corries song about the battle of Stirling Brig I realised that I didn't know anything about said battle. Or Scottish history in general. I watched a wee documentary on it from YouTube which I found fascinating. Now I share it with my fellow DTers. Although I expect this stuff isn't as new to many of you as it was to me. It's in 3 parts and the song I alluded to by the Corries first.

I read the OP and had a think about it. I think a lot depends on how we finish the season. It's far from over. Not winning anything has been a bitter disappointment whereas before last season it would've been an inevitable disappointment. If we were to get another cuffing from Celtic and lose any of the other games it's going to leave us in a very negative place. Then you'd have to say that last season was better because we won a trophy. If we manage to carry on consistently winning games and beat Celtic and run them as close as we can in the league it'll shine a more positive light on the season.

The problem with Fresh and Easy was that there were no WANs.

I know it's a cliche but let's just focus on ourselves and win our own games. No point in worrying about what we can't control. We should be aiming to win our remaining games whether Celtic win, lose or draw all theirs.

I don't have any specific recommendations. But I'd recommend you stay away from the more touristy parts. Not that you can't get a good meal in the touristy parts.. you'll just pay a fortune for it.

The frustrating thing is I do believe him when he says it was accidental and to be honest I think a yellow would have sufficed but he made it easy for the ref to send him off. The ref couldn't get the card oot his pocket quick enough. There is probably a long list of incidents where our players have been on the receiving end of similar elbows and the offenders have gotten away with it but what can you do. If your elbows are flailing aboot you might get sent off. Barry has a lot of experience and should have known better.

Just saw the highlights. Didn't spot the elbow at the time. I don't think we can have too many complaints? We always whinge that refs hate us. And Bobby Madden is one of the worst so why elbow someone in the face when you know he'd be only too happy to send one of our players off? Silly from Robson in my opinion. I'd be amazed if we bothered to appeal that and doubly amazed if the red card was rescinded. Having said that what the fuck was McLean's header ruled out for? As well as Barry has played for the last 2 games we've got adequate cover for his suspension and we got the three points so let's move on and beat Caley.
