  1. They fucked it weeks ago. The title is as good as at The Etihad.
  2. Thoroughly enjoyed watching Man Utd falter last night. Ole oot.
  3. At the time it looked like a punch (or attempted punch that Brown tried to evade) and since then I've seen it described as a punch or a lash-out but never a shove until I saw the article linked. Speaking of sounding like a conspiracy theorist I put it to you that if that had been McKenna or Cosgrove for example the more sensationalist terms would be used wherever possible. Appeasement efforts seem to double when either of the cheeks are involved. I don't think Brown would've dreamed that it would work so quickly. I'm sure he expected it to take more winding up before Morelos reverted to type and lashed out. I don't doubt that every single manager tells his players to wind up the silly cunt.
  4. The propaganda machine now carefully referring to it as a shove: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47775433
  5. I don't mean we have to trust him as in genuinely trust him. I'm saying we more or less have no choice now because he's got his will. I don't trust the guy as far as I could throw him.
  6. Because redeveloping Pittodrie is not happening.
  7. Was Freddo's sending off yesterday not very similar to the McKenna incident at the start of the season? A wee nibble (provoktion as Stevie would say) from Brown resulting in a lash out which may not have fully connected or caused injury but a lash out nonetheless. Exactly the same as what happened with McKenna. In both instances Morelos was sent off. The difference is that this time he's not being defended. Kris Boyd tore him a new arsehole at half time and Stevie G said that "he's let the club down again". He used the word "again" which implies that he feels he's let the club down in the past. But Rangers have appealed the vast majority if not all of the cards he's received that they're allowed to appeal. So they're appealing despite knowing he was in the wrong. No surprise in that. Nothing we didn't already know but it does irk me a little that Brown is "clever" for trying to wind up a known hot head when it was McKenna's "provoktion" that resulted in the red Morelos was shown at Pittodrie being rescinded in an unprecedented move. Having said that it was hugely amusing viewing. The icing on the cake would've been a booking for McGregor (hun) that I had on at 11/1.
  8. I think you'll find that I (and I'm sure I'm not the only one!) am far from happy with ever having to go to Hampden. I know it seems like a "1st world problem" having to go to Hampden to see your team at the business end of competitions but as a location and as a stadium it's fucking dreadful as most of us will acknowledge. Fans will have their own POV towards Kingsford. It'll be handier for some. Some fans completely accept that we "need" to move and have towed the party line. Redeveloping Pittodrie would've been most (sane) peoples' preferred option but we have to trust those who tell us it's not possible. I'd never expect the fans to unite over such a move just because the club ask us to.
  9. If you're wanting a role at DT HQ all you need to do is ask.
  10. I don't agree that he's a dud. In this instance the dud is our manager. Stewart is clearly a decent footballer (which is more than you can say for much of our squad) and yet he's continually ineffectual for us when he was almost prolific for a Killie team who most people would say is poorer than our team. The difference is the manager. He could easily do well at Ibrox and would almost certainly bite us on the arse sooner or later. I'm nae saying he should get a new deal with us unless we can play to his strengths.
  11. If only the spastics in this country would stop voting Tory.
  12. Worse than the Aberdonian oil wankers?! I can scarcely believe it. Ne'er a bigger bunch of fucking bell-ends have I seen. And that includes the Dutch pricks in Groeningen trying to start on borderline pensioner Dons fans.
  13. Nicola Sturgeon is the leader the UK wishes it had. She's absolutely brilliant. I'd love to see her debate with May on any topic.
  14. Ability-wise - yes. Injury-wise - no.
  15. It was a narrow (1-0) defeat as far as I remember. The booing of the Snake was the highlight for me.
  16. Don't think we did like. Although I was pleasantly surprised at how much better we were that night than I thought we'd be.
  17. We are all MBT.
  18. Whilst they're undoubtedly improving and going in the right direction I think it's premature to declare them genuine contenders. They had the easiest world cup group and draw in history and they still fucked it. Lost both their games against the only world class opponents that they played. 10 goals in the last 2 games is good but a team like England will be judged on their performances against elites like Germany, France, Spain and Brazil in competitive tournaments. The jury's out for me. Infinitely better than Scotland obviously.
  19. It was a sore one. Especially since I think Holland were the better team. Certainly kept Neuer busy (as you'd maybe expect for a Holland team playing at home.) Germany started quickly but as soon as they went two up Holland became the better team for the remainder of the game and were unlucky not to go in at half time with reduced or even no arrears. Babbel lacking a little bit of quality in front of goal. Going for the late winner in the way that they did (and probably have to do at home) left them open at the back and they paid the price. A very disappointing night all things considered. Although I do feel that Dutch football has improved vastly from the previous two qualifying campaigns. A young team with some real quality who I'm sure will only improve. Memphis may be an obnoxious bell end but by fuck he's exciting to watch on the football pitch. Just like Arjen Robben.
  20. Not at all. Better together, Kow. That's what you voted for and (presumably) got.
  21. In Southgate's defence England are pretty shite.
  22. Are they suitable for the shite Pittodrie surface?
  23. Our fans being arseholes is nothing new. I've been finding them particularly hard to deal with this season especially at home although I had my recent visit to Celtic Park ruined by the two brain dead fucking mongs behind me who spent the whole game berating young McLennan in particular. The game itself was somewhat hard work but having those two in my ear the whole game made it pure torture. The cunt could do no right. If he held on to it he was being screamed at to pass it and if he passed it he was being screamed at to hold on to it. Watching any product (even if it's amazing which is isn't) with audible idiots is fucking hard work. Whether it's better or worse now than in the 80s I have no idea. I wish folk would turn up and support the team. There's a difference between support and happy clapping. Turning up and not screaming at or berating our own players shouldn't be hard but apparently it is. It does us no favours and IMO it only has a negative effect on the players. I remember one of our players scoring a goal (earlier this season I think) and signalling the GIRFUY to our fans. I can't remember who it was but the fans deserved it.
