My point was that theres obvious reasons why theres not as big of as buzz about town (we're not winning leagues, cups, European trophies anymore, remember??). People will create a buzz if theres something to buzz about. Look at the three new teams in the highland league, I bet the attendance for their first game went up by about 500-1000%, because there was excitement. What has Aberdeen got to be excited about?? I was excited about the Europa League that went to plot, and in the mind of the majority of people I've spoke to, the Celtic game has went from "we could cause an upset here" to "I hope we keep it respectable". Where is the buzz??? I think we could have attracted good players with the prospect of European football but we signed no-one. We have good players and they helped us to 4th but we needed to replace the ones who left and now we dont have the carrot of European football we dont get as good as players, hence, not creating a buzz about town. Theres been plenty of players in the last few years that have caused a buzz but not this year

Yeah thats all fair enough. But how can we create a buzz around the city?? And get the whole community together?? Now hear me out here, how dont we start to win some matches?? Sign players people have heard of and excite people?? How about keeping players that the fans like here so we can enjoy watching them?? People dont have money to throw away watching a relatively unknown Czech team slaughter us, and that people definatly aren't gonna get excited about a Celtic team (which on paper is better) come play us after the slaughtering.

Everyone generally has one nationality, that is who you should be playing for, if you're good enough. I know what you're saying and I pretty much agree to an extent but is it right to say drop Severin?? Who replace him?? Personally I shouted for the fucker to go back to Hearts when he missed his pen coz he was balls all night but saying that he could put in a shift on Saturday that helps us beat Hibs, my point being we dont have strenght in depth to drop someone that one their day is a magic player, let alone drop 4,5,6 or 7

Considering we need (and maybe Jimmy needs) a very good finish to the season I can see our better players dropped. Yeah they have their bad games but there also the players that will get us into the Europa malarky. If Jimmy decides this is the time to field youth players then he must and bigger balls that something with notorious big balls. I cant think of much young players Jimmy has actually played or played regularly (except Derek and Darren)

I have to agree, Aluko wasn't great by any means but he doesnt deserve to be one of the players singled out. We looked a better team when he was on the ball

Totally agree (with the serious posts) Diamond was the only player that showed any balls, showed that he actually wanted to win. We need more players like him

Isnt that the same in all leagues with 18-20 teams?? If it were to happen then the teams coming up would be able to attract slightly better players. Most of the teams that would come up have been in the SPL in the last 10-15 years anyway. Teams like Dundee, Dunfermline, Livi, St Johnstone etc isnt gonna make the league anymore embarrassing as it is just now.

I dare say since he's free to talk to other clubs then we cant do much about anything, let alone "kill off" anything. Yeah Burnley might have not made an offer but they could and Severin sign for another club in a matter of days, if that. We should have had this sorted a long time ago

Yeah, was a pretty poor game, as its been said the midfield was excellent. What about Duff's penalty claim? I didn't see it that well but I noticed that seconds later we got a pretty weak free kick 10-15 yards outside the box, I thought the ref might have been trying to balance things out by giving us the free kick instead. I also thought Vidal did ok given the circumstances, he looked confortable on the ball and didnt seemed to be phased, one thing that puzzled me was that Foster was taking a throw and Vidal run from being in space to pick up a Rangers player when he didnt need to
