I might be alone in this but I thought, at the time anyway, that Mackie being put on for Clark was a good idea. Every time Clark got the ball he seemed to stop, consider what to do which gave Hibs enough time to get into a decent defensive position, and Clark would therefore be forced to pass the ball backwards. At least with Mackie there was someone with pace who didn't slow down every attack that came through him. I'm not saying he's a great player but I thought that substitution made sense.

I can't really see how Aberdeen are going to improve next season. I can't imagine Brown taking us forward but nor can I see any other manager taking over in the summer who will take us forward. The depressing thing is it seems unlikely we will get such a good draw in the cup next season so it feels like our best chance of actually achieving something is gone. Next season I can't see anything other than a couple of average at best cup runs and bottom six football. Unsure if getting rid of Brown will really solve that problem though.

Taking a second away from enjoying administration talk, I saw that Shelter Scotland have released details of the traffic on their 'Get Advice' section of their website. Apparently it saw a 600% increase in the days following the latest Old Firm game.

Half watching it, not really paid attention to any of the singing though.

I think they have a right to march, even if their views are despicable. I'd guess that if they do march, the tiny numbers who actually turn up would be viewed as the joke that they are by the vast majority of people they walk past.
