  2. Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle
  3. Thought the atmosphere on Sunday got really good in the last twenty minutes. Brilliant stadium to watch sport in, we were near the back but still had an excellent view.
  4. Played terribly but got a win. Enjoyed the game. There was a very annoying Irish girl sitting near us who was gloating with her high-pitched voice, pissing off everyone around her. Looking at her face when we won made the win all the sweeter.
  5. Great match yesterday, brilliant try by Hogg. Nice to see Scotland these days scoring tries, and to see us technically second in the table.
  6. St Mirren (H) (11th) - Loss Dundee (H) (12th) - Win Kilmarnock (A) (9th) - Win Ross County (H) (10th) - Draw Motherwell (H) (3rd) - Draw Celtic (A) (1st) - Win Hearts (H) (8th) - Draw Dundee United (A) (7th) - Win 15/24 Points
  7. In/Oot - Oot Prematcher - Train Match - Murrayfield Postmatcher - Pub Prediction - 2-1 Aberdeen
  8. That was frustrating. Tactics were all off. Thought it was obvious that we should be attacking from the start, but apparently not. Even with about 15 minutes to go, in a game we needed to score in, Hibs got a corner and every single Aberdeen player was in the box. There seemed to be no urgency. A bit miserable. Player wise I thought Hughes was poor but didn't really think the rest of the team were that bad, but the fact I've seen them play better than they did yesterday is frustrating. People around me were very critical of Vernon when he came on, but I thought he was doing well until the penalty (do our players never practice taking penalties? I actually cannot remember the last time I saw us score one) which was as bad as McGinn's last week. Need to improve for next week for us to do anything in the league. I'm not quite at 'The season is over' stage yet (I was last night, but woken up feeling less reactionary and pessimistic) as I still think we have a decent chance of getting into Europe. Expectant large dons crowd for an important match. Unsure why I expected any different.
  9. Northsound are reporting that AFC have stated no clubs made contact with regards to McGinn.
  10. Currently reading 'The Driver's Seat' by Muriel Spark. Only ever read 'The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie' by her before so wasn't sure what to expect. So far I'm enjoying it though. Recently finished a couple of Sherlock Holmes novels, which are always entertaining. Have a lot of books downloaded onto my Kindle that I'm planning on reading, from James Bond to 'Mortality' by Christopher Hitchens.
  11. Since the ban has come in place I've only drank alcohol after 9pm once, the conductor just said that as it was past nine (about 9:15 or so) we would have to make the beers we had our last. Seemed relatively relaxed about it but like everything else on Scotrail I think it depends entirely on which conductor you get.

Quite enjoyed The Hobbit but felt it went on about 45 minutes too long. I quite liked the slow build up, but after a while got sick of seeing the Dwarfs and Gandalf running across a bridge whilst being attacked by goblins, then running across another bridge whilst being attacked by Goblins. I enjoyed it, but I felt it was stretched. Keen to see Les Miserables but can't convince anyone to go.
  14. Didn't get it, but downloaded it for about a pound for my Kindle. It's part of the twelve days of kindle deal so that worked out well.
  15. Had wanted to go but there seem to be no trains going through to Glasgow for some reason.
  16. My jeans are still wet. Good second half, probably had slightly the better of the first half but not by much. Thought we would lose at half time just because we had the wind against us for the second half, but got a goal from the free kick and another. Looked good in parts, but conditions weren't exactly representative of normal football. I don't think I will ever be dry.

Planning on seeing it, but I thought turning The Hobbit into two films was stretching it, never mind three. In saying that, I've only heard good things about it.
  18. In Train (via Stirling as for some reason that saved us about £12) South Stand Train to Edinburgh (again via Stirling) 3-1 Dons
  19. Surprised that wasn't overturned. How could they possibly think that was a red car offence? So now we are stuck with Brown in goals against St Johnstone? Fantastic.
  20. Good for them. Does anyone know where to get those AFC Santa hats? Saw Langfield with one on for an advert for the webshop but I couldn't see any for sale on there.
  21. He was brilliant when he came on against Morton. Think he has played all of about three games since then though for St Johnstone.
  22. Bit surprised Murray didn't win, but then again I've always preferred tennis to cycling. Didn't realise that many people in the UK cared about the Tour De France.
  23. Looked like a pen from the highlights (though always hard to tell at that angle) certainly not a red card though. Was initially worried Brown would be in goal on Saturday, but the appeal should be successful.
