  1. 0-0 seems likely. Was going to head up for this but not any more, just going to find a pub in Glasgow that will hopefully show the game.
  2. I tend to find they are even more biased than I am, which is saying something. I think there are averagely four incidents per match which should be an Aberdeen penalty according to Northsound!
  3. Thanks, guess I'll just have to make do with that. Someone on twitter said the BBC can't afford to cover all the SPL matches any more, is that true? Surely it can't cost that much?
  4. Anyone got a link for the radio coverage? Can't seem to find it on the BBC website.
  5. I think his wife genuinely is ill, so either it's a genuine reason or the excuse presented itself fairly conveniently.
  6. Haven't decided whether I'm going yet, with that in mind. In/Out: In/Oot Pre-match: Bus/Bed. Match: South Stand/Bed. Post-matcher: Bus/Bed. Prediction: 3-0 Hearts/3-0 Aberdeen
  7. Langfield helping the Morton player with cramp amused me somewhat. He grew up a St Mirren fan didn't he?
  8. He did well when he came on Yesterday I thought, I would have liked to see him play for us more often. Don't really like the idea of loaning a player to one of our league rivals either.
  9. I didn't think the performance was that bad really. Compared with the performance on Saturday it didn't look great but I thought Aberdeen looked the better side for most of the match and the win was deserved. How did folk get to the terraced part? I went over at half time (along with probably half the stand) to try to get there but they refused to let us in unless we had some form of ticket.
  10. Just back, good game but we should have thrashed them. Absolutely dominated, feel that 2-1 doesn't represent how dominant Aberdeen were today.
  11. I might be wrong on this, but haven't Kilmarnock come out and said they would vote with Celtic to prevent any move to alter the voting structure of the SPL for some reason?
  12. Surely the government want to encourage public transport in these environmentally conscious times? With that in mind the push towards having rail users spend more on rail travel and the tax payer less, seems a little odd.
  13. Looking forward to this. Never been to a game in Greenock before.
  14. What was the final score? Great to see there was a brilliant turn out for an Aberdeen legend but how did we manage to sell out a mid-week testimonial but not get anywhere near selling out a league game on 'sell out Saturday'?
  15. I noticed despite this new rule on people who are drunk being banned from Scotrail trains that there was a fairly drunk looking man on my carriage who was not removed by the conductor or BTP.
  16. That's good, I was thinking that paying £57 pounds for a single between Edinburgh and Aberdeen was too little. Scotland has the worst rail service I've experienced in Western Europe, and also the most expensive. I can never figure out how they justify their prices.
  17. I think you can, you can have alcohol in your bag so long as you don't drink it or have it visibly showing after 9pm or before 10am. Scotrail tweeted me last week saying that trains before football games will have alcohol bans more often now. I wondered if that is just between cities that the playing clubs are from or any train going to any city with a game on which arrives at the time that football fans are likely to arrive.
  18. Silly question but with the new rules Scotrail have with regards to alcohol, are we able to take drink on the trains going to Aberdeen tomorrow?
  19. In/Oot: In Prematcher: Train to Aberdeen then a pint or two at some bar or another. Match: South Stand Postmatcher: Train to Edinburgh, Fringe show as usual in August. Prediction: 3-1 Aberdeen.

Another gold for the North East with Tim Baillie from Westhill winning gold in the Canoe Slalom.
  21. Ah might head there. Considered trying to get a ticket but don't really fancy paying the best part of £30 for it really, particularly as I'm used to paying cheap student rates which are about half that and the last time I was at Celtic Park I felt like I couldn't see the game properly and that wasn't even in the 'restricted view' section. Found it an atrocious place to watch a football game.
  22. In/Oot: Oot Prematcher: Sleeping Match: Finding a pub in Glasgow not too Old Firm infested to watch the match in. Postmatcher: Train to Edinburgh then a couple of Fringe shows. Prediction: 1-1
