  1. I'm now not going. Had been going as a mate told me it was only a fiver entry with a student card but apparently that only applies if you get the ticket in advance so would actually cost me £20 to get in tonight. Should have checked earlier but now I don't really fancy paying £20 for a ticket to a fairly meaningless game.
  2. In/Out: In Pre-Match: Pub either in Paisley or Glasgow, not decided yet Match: Away End Post-match: Train home Prediction: 3-2 thrilling win for Aberdeen
  3. Think it's something like 50 years for that, but it's been a fair few seasons on the trot where we beat one of them I think. Look forward to that record continuing next week.
  4. Not sure. Fortunate that Aberdeen have beaten Hibs this season so we know it isn't this season, but I'm fairly sure it would be decades ago. I think Aberdeen have beaten one of the old firm at least once for about ten years running and even on a catastrophic season I'd expect they would have at least fluked a result against one of the other three.
  5. Would be nice to have one of those Addidas Kits. The away one looks good. Somehow doubt the strip next season will be anywhere near as nice as those though. Pity really because a decent strip like some of those could sell quite a bit I reckon. Perhaps not the Kappa one.
  6. To an extent I'd agree, and I would much prefer to get to a cup final than just getting into the top six, but on the other hand knowing that Aberdeen could get from near the bottom at the turn of the year to the top six whilst playing largely the same teams that Aberdeen will have to play next season I think would give me more confidence than just beating Dunfirmline, then being fairly lucky to see off St Mirren and getting one win against one of the Old Firm in a fixture that, even since Brown has come in, Celtic have absolutely dominated.
  7. Possibly depends on the Championship game. Some teams, like Leeds Utd, may have a bigger UK pull than either of the Old Firm. Whilst the OF are popular up here the impression I've got when in England is that no-one cares, despite the obligatory mention of it on the weather the day before or the small interview on Football Focus where the pundits make a prediction whilst looking like they care about the game less than even I do.
  8. Got it off work, I'm in now. Sort of looking forward to it as although I think Aberdeen will almost definitely lose it really is the only game left this season which holds much meaning.
  9. That's really early for Aberdeen fans to have to leave. Working Sundays at the moment so that probably rules me out unless I try and get it off. Not really sure if it's worth it for another game against Celtic.
  10. I like to think Johnny Wilkinson does Robert Milsom style run ups for his Rugby kicks.
  11. In/Oot : In Travel: Train Pre-match: Game: New St Mirren Park Post-match: Flat Prediction: Hard fought narrow win. 2-1.
  12. In/oot: Out Pre Match: Essay Writing Match: Pub somewhere Post Match: Flat Prediction: 0-0 draw
  13. That's kind of what I thought. I'd been getting texts going on about disgraceful scenes etc when I was at the St Johnstone game yesterday. I got round to watching the highlights expecting a mass brawl and instead I saw a group of players and staff trying, but failing, to push each other a little bit. Storm in a tea cup.
  14. I think they are waiting until Rangers get knocked out of the Europa League so they can figure out when to reschedule it for.
  15. In/Oot: In Pre-Match:Train Match: Away End Post-Match: Train Home Prediction: 0-2
  16. Yeah Milsom for me as well. McArdle was a close second.
  17. No. Though initially when I read that I thought there was a comma between 'Queens Park' and 'Rangers' and was trying to figure out if I remembered him playing for either club
  18. In/Oot: In Pre-Match: Driving up from Edinburgh Match: South Stand Post-Match: Driving back down to Edinburgh Prediction: 1-1
  19. Had Aberdeen to win 1-0 at 5/1. Only put £1 on though as I hate losing more than that.

Just watched Four Lions, I enjoyed it.
  21. Maybe it would make more sense to have the demonstration in the RDS then. It doesn't seem like it would be particularly effectual standing up and singing in a stand where we are already allowed to stand up and sing. Either way, a better atmosphere at Pittodrie can only be a good thing, though I don't know if this is the best game to try.
  22. I've found Old Firm games to be the ones where the stewards do let us stand. Like Tuesday for example in the South Stand we were allowed to stand, seems a bit odd that the following game is the one there is a protest.
  23. Are we treated like dirt at pittodrie?
  24. In/Oot: Oot Pre match: Holiday Match: Holiday Post match: Holiday Prediction: 5-2 Aberdeen
  25. To me it looked like he went in with his knee but mistimed it and it looked like it came off his boot not his knee.
