  1. Completely agree Al. His transfer strategy has been appalling for 3 windows now and he has brought this on himself. I didn't even bother to watch today, Goodwin is a more than competent manager and we must be so easy to nullify right now. With literally only 3 attackers the Helen defence must have been rubbing their hands together before even warming up.
  2. I wouldn't say we have ever been good team to watch under mcinnes but he has produced a couple of good sides the best being the 2016/17 season team or the 17/18 team (imo anyway) . It was unfortunate that we were up against an abnormally good celtic team otherwise I would have fancied us for a trophy or two. Since then though the fall in overall standard has gathered a fair bit of momentum and if it hadn't been for the emergence of Cosgrove last season we would likely have finished an AWFUL lot lower. In short it's impossible not to feel like it's gone incredibly stale at Aberdeen. The most frustrating thing for me is that it's not like the board have been extra stingy during this period, they seem to have backed their man to the best of their ability.... And it's impossible not to conclude that it has been invested very poorly. It's a fair point you make about oversight rocket. Why have the club allowed the manager to have such a, quite obviously, scattergun approach to transfer policy? I've said it before and I will say it again about Christie and Maclean. They have never been adequately replaced and having at least one player in the centre of the park that can take the ball under pressure and yet still find a way to move the ball forward is essential to Mcinnes's strategy. I appreciate on the budget available it isn't necessarily easy to sign players like that but what is annoying me is we don't even seem to be trying to. Forester and gleeson were the only attempt but that was a year and half ago. Should Mcinnes go? It's becoming increasingly harder to make any kind of case for his defence if one were so minded even including the huge severance fee that would need to be paid. That fee is what will keep him from being binned at the moment though. Come the end of the season and if things haven't shown a real improvement then we will get a real indicator to the cut of Cormacks jib.
  3. Utd lose 2-0 at home to Burnley. Surely jotters for ole soon.
  4. Another winger isn't the answer either.
  5. You lost me at afc chat
  6. Delighted to hear that, it is division one though so you wouldn't think he's got the trickiest wingers to face.

The squad has gone stale, there just haven't been enough ins and outs the past few seasons.
  8. According to twitter both the hun and the retard are reporting Kennedy has signed.
  9. Said this when we signed mcgeoch, good player but not what we need. Ferguson is highly unlikely to ever be an effective no 10 and we only really have 2 attacking outlets. Long to Cosgrove or trying to get to the byline and cross in. Very often its both at the same time. We have no guile in the middle of the park and haven't since Maclean and Christie left. This is Mcinnes's 3rd window at trying to do something about it and, given mcgeoch was unlikely to come cheap, it looks like 3rd time won't be the charm after all. Bryson isn't the answer either, he's just more of the same but nearing retirement. Our whole transfer policy the past few years has been nothing short of scattergun.
  10. 38 followers and joined twitter this year. I'm taking that one with a pinch of salt
  11. Mcgeoch is a decent b2b midfielder but I don't really think hes adding anything new. Would rather see us sign someone with some guile.
  12. Ronny Deila - jammy git it would seem. Just landed the new York job.
  13. Hard to argue with that TC
  14. Good, logan had a great few seasons but now the best we get out of him is an alright performance these days.
  15. Ando to livi on loan I hear
  16. I always saw him more as a no 10 at accies 2bh Al
  17. Re rebuilding I would totally take Greg docherty off the huns if they would do business with us.
  18. I remember being devastated TC but I didn't resent him at the time at all. Not getting a game and offered at least twice his wage. Don't get me wrong though, I can understand why a lot felt the move tarnished his memory.
  19. Re theo, he wasn't getting a game because Aitken was a bellend who thought stillie or watt was a better choice.
  20. I wonder if we will be taking advantage of Atlantas South American scouting this window. What our team lacks is a tricky no 10 and they are ten a penny on that continent.
  21. Your last paragraphy utterly nas it Kenny
  22. It would be quite amusing if pochettino decided he fancies it.
  23. Their season revenue last year was 78 mill according to wiki. That's about celtics turnover.

  25. According to the Inverness reds FB page. Boardroom changes will be announced tonight and press conference tomorrow morning. Dave Cormack will become Chairman (but not buying Stewart Milne out). Stewart will remain on the Board for an interim period. New investment from Dave Cormack. Kingsford Stadium will go ahead.
